Visually these look like they’re made of the same plastic as the ever classic green army men toys. I’d be interested to see how they’re poured and pulled in their factory.

@TattooDougHardy - He handed me the head of the Frankenstein and it felt like 90% of the feel of a Japanese sofubi toy. It had sort of a matte finish on the outside but the material was very thick and yielded just a tiny bit, the way you would expect from a Japanese product.

When I went to his table, I handled the newer Space Monster test shot and it is much closer to what you would expect. Shiny finish and a lurid blood red color. Like the Death Jaguar figure, if you never told me it was made in China I would have assumed it came from Japan. He also had an additional head that showed results from the marbling experiments he's been doing. The design is very broad and spooky-looking, and it's going to look very nice alongside Frankenstein.

Again, I am really looking forward to his next releases. He has experience sculpting and manufacturing things using other materials on projects before this one, which I imagine provides a big advantage. However, it's still a one-man operation, so we will need to be patient.

@xSuicide Squadx - I can't find the picture right now but his tooling looks nearly identical to what you would see in a Japanese factory. I believe he mentioned using a vacuum chamber.

Thanks, Roger! I’ll have to keep my peepers open a bit more. It’s pretty cool to read that you had some hands on at DC and feel positive about the ration he’s goin’ in already. Admittedly, I have no idea who this dude is, and am not at all familiar with anything he’s done, but his repertoire from other board members has been rather glowing! I am interested to see where his progress goes!

I'd really love to actually go check the factory just out of curiosity's sake. Thanks for the report! I'm super interested in watching the progress and to see other figures come out!
