I don't really understand it myself. Runs in head first and not only doesn't he get the take down he gets submitted? He looked pretty good with his striking, but the only problem was so did Lytle.

I love it when guys talk a load of crap about the other fighter not belonging in the UFC, and about lacking skills, only to get stomped by the "inferior" competition. Way to go Henderson.

Congrats to Lytle for ending his career the way he did. Pretty sweet submission. Hardy is not easy to tap either.

  I'll second that. Double fuck that guy. The most action out of him in his last 4 has been him getting all amped up at his own introduction. Then the bell rings and he peeters out.

I thought Miller/Henderson should have won FOTN over Lytle/Hardy. Despite Miller losing, he was throwing up constant submission attempts, and he was way more competitive than Dan Hardy was. I thought it was a really entertaining fight... But on the other hand, Lytle, getting taken down, only to roll into a sick mounted guillotine  Sub of the Night, for sure!

    Does Okami have a chance?
Does Silva make him suffer for taking the route of disqualification due to illegal shot, which got silva a L?

if Okami won, it would be a major upset. Silva is ripe for a loss, but after that kick to Belfort's face, it's hard to imagine him losing.

hmmmm, interesting. does this mean no more UFC on Spike? I like Spike as a channel and thought they did a good job with UFC.

i'm concerned UFC will be a smaller fish at Fox when they were a huge fish at Spike. so many less UFC on Fox?

    i don't know.

The way it seems is that FX will get most of the programming, and it will only be on Fox 4 times a year. And then the prelims and pre/post shows will be on Fuel. And now the rumor is Bellator will be moving to Spike to fill the UFC gap.

I wish someone, anyone, would beat Silva. And decisively.
He just genuinely seems like a douche.
I used to think, "Why does the UFC keep having Silva fight these guys with inferior skills?"
But I knew in the back of my head that it was not the other guys being inferior. It was Anderson Silva being levels above the best competition the world has to offer. I just don't like to think that way. It's not fun to think the guy who will probably go down as the best ever is a total prick.

I knew something was up with UFC. They switched from Spike to Versus here. Now Fox? :?

I just can't believe no one can beat Silva. Not only that, he makes them all look like such CRAP!! Today might not have been the worst, but it was very sad none the less :x

Maybe the second worst. After Forest Griffin.

    Hmmm...

    Anderson Silva vs. Jon Jones

If no one at 185 is a match for Silva, maybe he needs to step it up to a more competitive weight?

I don 't know that Silva's a prick ?? He's like a real life martial arts movie hero, amazing skills...still always hoping someone will beat him but who ? Given Sonnen came the closest with his excellent wrestling skills i figure a wrestler type, maybe GSP in a catchweight fight but my money would be on Jones.

one of the two will face him soon enough, bookies are already giving odds on GSP vs Silva so i think that'll be the one that comes up the soonest ...

I think Silva is respectful when paid respect pre-fight. But when his opponents start shit talking, he takes it personally and comes across as an ass hole. I think Silva could step into 205, as a 185 lb fighter, and 20 pounds lighter still beat everyone in the division. I don't know where his power comes from, because he looks thin for 185 lbs. Maybe he practices some iron knuckle, or old karate ki exercises.

Once Silva knew he had him in the second round it was almost comical. He just stood there with his hands down for a few solid seconds as if thinking of how he wanted to finish the fight. You could tell it was just a matter of seconds.....

There is no doubting his skills. He's clearly head and shoulders above everyone currently fighting in his weight class. Maybe over anyone, anywhere. But I think that with all that skill should come some humility and class. Although Silva makes attempts to show some after he wins fights, by bowing at his defeated opponents feet, or in interviews, it seems contrived.
I lost much respect for Silva (as a person, not a fighter) in the Demian Maia fight. And even the Forest Griffin fight. If he is such a superior fighter, then end the fight quickly and decisively. Why delay the fight by dancing around, throwing your hands in the air and making your opponent look like a fool?
Shit talking before the fight is part of the game. And helps sell fights. I don't give Silva a pass to humiliate his opponent because he thinks the dude didn't give him enough respect before their fight. And I don't remember Griffin trashing Silva. So that looked more to me like Silva realizing he was on another level and deciding to make a spectacle of Griffin. Which would have been fine with a highlight real knock out. But why toy with him first? Douche move ftw.
Anyway- this is just my opinion based on what the guy has shown me in the ring. He could be the nicest guy outside the ring... That doesn't change the fact that he pulls some serious dick moves. Seems the truth about how he feels about himself, compared to others, comes out in the ring.

I haven't seen the odds on GSP zs. Silva. Can't be looking good for Georges though.

I'm ont sure thats what he's doing when he's dancing around like that, but you may be right. He's not the most likeable fighter in any case. What i definitely do dislike about him is how he gets angry at guys when they don't charge in to his devastating counter punches, mocking them for fighting smart ...

    Odds are -175 Silva, + 175 St-Pierre ...
