I wonder how a $19.95 ppv would effect their overall sales? I would think a LOT more people would purchase it, maybe making enough to break even or even pass the income of a regular price event?
Then I would wonder how many people would b!tch about having to pay full price again?

They have done free events on Spike, so $19.95 shouldn't be a big problem for them. This event should have been on Spike if you ask me.

    Yup.

But,Dana White has got to keep the money rolling in, so I can see it not being free. I just wonder how long before the hefty $50 price tag for every PPV (regardless of talent on the card) starts to turn people off to UFC.

Watched the fight on the net, boring as all hell.Struve getting leveled was good, Rampage landed some nice punches on Hamill but nothing too exciting.

Hamill looked like garbage with his weak attempts to take him down.

hmmmm... Carwin can take a punch but no match for dos Santos.

Cain Velasquez vs Junior dos Santos, eh? Interesting match up. i'm hoping that Cain will retain the title.

Junior looked great for one round, then the fight became a waste of time. Fight of the night.....Sam Stout :!: What an incredible KNOCK OUT :!:

Cain takes Dos Santos. Junior couldn't finish carwin when he had about 20 open shots and then after the beating carwin took, he still managed to light Junior up at least once and survive to the decision. Cains wrestling and cardio will dominate dos Santos . So what if junior shot a double leg on carwin? The dudes eye was about to fall out of his head!

So what happened with Marquardt? Steroids/amphetamines is my guess.

Dana White Tweeted a short video clip right before weigh-ins last night and just said, basically that Marquardt failed to pass his medical and wouldn't be fighting and that he would no longer be part of the UFC.

There's no details so far, maybe a short statement in the pre-fight show tonight.

Yeah, that shit was crazy! Curious to see what Barry says and does after this. Sad to see him lose, he is a local guy and he seems to have a decent fan base.

definitely most insane fight i've seen in a very long time. Surprised the fight didn't get stopped, but it was a good decision I suppose. Also surprised that Barry had a glass jaw like that.

I think it would have really sucked for Barry if he had stopped fighting or let up thinking it should have been stopped, but he continued to fight up until he started eating punches. Yeah, it was pretty crazy to see his jaw allow him to give out like that.

The Mitrione fight was really good, his striking is crisp. It was a really nice walk-off KO. Can't wait to see how he does against a big named opponent.

Mitrione fight was awesome. He's definitely underated. but I think it's because of that stupid grin he always has on his face.

I like Hendo and Fedor is definitely in his twilight (so is Hendo), but I gotta give it to Fedor hands down

According to Marquardt's camp, he's supposedly going to "personally address the situation" today.
