I love that creepazoid up top, Ben... he of the ... nose-cover??? The mind boggles at what might be under there...
Ben those are so damn creepy!! Love them! Here is a Cadaver Kid for my pal Joe! I love this little dude. I need one in hot pink and one in orange.
sweet! Really dig the results of what you're getting with the ink & brush. I'm way to rigid to just let it flow and work with the results. Too many years of looking at Herge' art I suppose.
not safe for work i think... so ill just post a link. its also not monsters... its spiderman vs. batman... http://www.flickr.com/photos/ghostandflower/7231687914/in/photostream
Bat on Stilts I can post the sketch, but this is the final product. I've also posted this into the Stingy Jack contest.
a bit abstract, but i thought there was some imagery in it that people here might enjoy... this is a 4'x8' painting i just finished... the scribble on the top right reads..""I am confused because I am an owl, but I need to become a bear and I don't know how. An owl is smart and observant, but a bear is the only one who can stop the city from consuming their nature. The city is my life and I am the bear and the owl and the city. This battle is never ending..."
^ I dig the textures and colors, nice work Ghost&Flower. Recently completed Devilman, 8"x10" - acrylic on canvas, for a trade with Michael. Mazinger I did a few months back, 12"x18" acrylic on canvas.
^love that scribble page. i should start doing stuff like that again. I did it a lot in high school, but havent done it since. heres another painting i recently finished... Touch Your Hand To The Ground And You Will Grow by Ghost&Flower, on Flickr
This is my first post in this thread! Amazing stuff here people!!! Really inspiring! Here's a gouache painting I recently completed - Garamon, Ugly Unicorn and Jamira.
i gotta give gouache a try- right now im doing these little water color portraits for a show i have coming up- been posting a lot of them to instagram good stuff as always flowing in this thread
LOVE looking at this thread and perusing everybody's art, so much talent. Somebody should curate an art show..... I did these as part of a group of artists, some of my fave people working on it. They will be released as a book of temporary tattoos, so I tried to keep them simple with bright colors.
Holy shit, this thread is great! Steven told me about it but forgot to check it out until now. So much talent. Normally I paint more straight forward traditional tattoo flash but decided to do a sheet of Madballs last week. Watercolor on 11x14.
Damn that madball flash rules. You made prints of those, right? Did this for fun today, a little different "cute" style, per the request of my daughter....
