I really need to buy the Ultra Q dvd's even though they dont have subs.Every cool toy I like seems to come from this show.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I was browsing online and saw this pic with a caption 'Butanohana' Looks like a neat little dino
Those are pre-factory, so there are quite a few steps to go still from those green sculpt stage to the final versions. I'd say a couple of months typically.
Just got the last Butanohana Chibul Seijin and the new cream w/green Eleking in the mail today from Super 7. I honestly don't know which one I like better. Its hard picking from a photo sometimes, particularly with these Buta Elekings, but WOW! in hand the green version rules! Its a bit of a sleeper, because the photos just don't reveal how cool these are in hand, S7 has two versions up right now I picked the green and am REALLY happy with it: http://super7store.com/toys/neo-kaiju/eleking-1.html (Edit: I added, '...the photos just don't reveal how cool these are in hand')
hmmmm- i've been tormenting myself with whole 'Should I or Shouldn't I' debate about the Green Eleking the past couple days. Now I'm really thinking should I.....?
Question: Does OKU Booska have articulation at the neck? mine appears to be glued at the neck with no articulation--except for at the arm--kind of a bummer because the arm is up: palm facing the side of the head and I can't get it down over the chest. I'm a little suspicious about it since I got one open-bag.
The head is glued. Don't try to move it to much. I think there was an error with the articulation of the neck (I'm actually surprised this doesn't happen more often) and he had to glue it to keep it in place. If the arm is in a funny position maybe you could heat it up so the vinyl actually flexes and move it past the head that way. That's just a guess though...
hey, thanks Chris. that's kind of a bummer, but I guess so long as it's not the norm. I'm dreaming of when he might do a regular booska version. EDIT: a little heat did the trick. covered the neck with piece of folded fabric and went to town. Thanks again for the info.
where have u been all my life? super stoked to see what kinda crazy colors they're gonna slap oallover this guy over at the buta labs!
Have no idea what happened to either of those, but a new photo popped up on the BUta blog of something in the works. Looks like Goga. http://sofutoyakigangu.blogspot.com/2011/01/blog-post.html
