via hiddy's blog report for the Shinganist show (sounds like it maybe? maybe i'm reading the translation wrong). i hope this is in the works DROOL
Pictures are kind of dark so its hard to get a full feel for the figure, but it looks better than the R.I. in my opinion!
for me,,it evokes images of masai herdsmen.. i likes it so far,,seems to fit with the "next level" sb range...although not too sure how many countless colourways can be done of it??
that must be the art that was used for the new figure ! if somebody asked you, before this new figure was done, if you could imagine that this pen/ink artwork can be turned into a toy.....wouldnt you also have said "no way" ? incredible !!
dammit i have to stop buying new toys but ill definitely be picking up the first few releases of this toy.
I just fear the day they do a Usugrow fight figure . . . a Skullwing x Atom Age Vampire hybrid with a Usugrow twist would melt my brain! (as long as it was self-supporting)
How many points of articulation does the RI have, two? Although I hear you can move the arms if you try hard enough... I like it. As Jürgen already pointed out, it's an astonishingly accurate transition from art to figure/statue. [edited for not good engrish]
I guess thats why the RI doesn't appeal to me, besides the whole "urban" look to it. I like toys, not arts made into something.
looks interesting - thought of this for some reason... maybe it's the dramatic lighting in those photos
I think I will be told very soon that I was wrong...but is it really possible to make this a vinyl figure ? I can imagine that it is very difficult due to the slim "arms" and the rest of the thin long elements....more likely to be made of resin or metal ???
I prefer toys myself but I also love my ho chi mihn bust (puts on flame retardent suit) so even if it has no articulation it should still be sweet in hand
