I miss David Warner. Such a great talent, and no hesitation to work in genre media. I like listening to Doctor Who audio plays from Big Finish, and he appears as multiple characters across different stores, as well as a Doctor Who from an alternate universe! He was also great in one episode of the modern show. Countless other great roles.

 

I liked him too, especially in Time After Time. However, Shusuke Kaneko was not a fan. At one of the Asian Fantasy Film Expos, someone asked him what it was like working with him on Necronomicon and he was visibly angry when recalling the experience, saying Warner was very difficult to work with and rude to everyone. It was not the reaction you would expect from a Japanese person.
