I just want to say thanks to everyone for making my time at the Con fun, interesting and special- I’m really glad I made it down. I was fairly f’d up from travel, lack of sleep, long stretches in character as Garamike, and having to manage so much luggage and stuff in such an overwhelming atmosphere. As many of you know, I am great with faces but mostly TERRIBLE with names (that part of my memory having been forcibly jettisoned from my skull years ago, to make room for child-rearing data), so please excuse me if I make any serious omissions here, but I particularly want to thank Paul, Mikee, Wendy, Kat, Kevin, Nar, JoeMan (DUDE!), Joanna, Brian, and the redheaded dude whose name I am completely missing for hosting me at Monster Island and giving me so much great, kind Gara-help during my time there. Also big thanks to Matt, Shawn, Pat, Rich, Bryan, Adam, Brent, Martyn, Skinner, Shig, Jon… on and on and on!!! CANNOT WAIT for next year!
Mike man had so much fun with you!!! It was a blast helping out Garamike lol also the t-shirts ruled hard!
Here are my pics from the show: http://www.flickr.com/photos/spatula007 ... 770905055/ It was great taking part in the MVH raffle at Lulubell Toys. I'm not sure which Skullbrainers I was mext to, but it was a cool time. I nabbed a mixed parts monster and a chocolate pop.
Things I haven't seen photos of yet: • Pushead one-offs / Patchwerk releases (Did these exist, or was it just the production pieces?) • Buff Monster Bootlegs • Mnwka Boogies
I'm curious about the Pushead stuff too. I was broke by then, so I was out of the running. What kind of prices were there?
After missing out last year on a piece, by only two people, I was able to score the last piece this year
