*Missed Connections* Was wondering What Ed's name on here who was standing in front of me for the pushead line. Im terrible with names and definitely should have written it down. please message me Ed from Long island.
Funny moment today: I watched several 'brainers gather in the concrete alley behind one of the black curtain partitions for an MVH mixed parts swap meet. Everyone hunched on the floor, scrutinizing the goods, completely engrossed; several wives and girlfriends looking on. NOT ONE OF THEM notices when Kirk Hammett and his massive entourage stride right through the group, on their way to a signing or something.
Haha, that was one of the best moments when you were like: "Hey guys, did anyone notice Kirk Hammet walk by a second ago?" And everyone was like? "Kirk Hammet? We're trading toys here! Stay focused!" That parts swap was fantastic, thanks to everyone who helped me complete my sludge demon! Thanks for the shirt too Mike! It was awesome seeing everybody from last year and the FOE show earlier this year- it was much more fun this time because I think we are all starting to recognize each other and the awkwardness of meeting for the first time is over. phil
Thanks PAT! I know it sounds stupid but still cant believe I didnt write it down. knew someone on here would have seen.
May be the only time in my life when I can say I upped Kirk Hammet ! Hearing about that trade feast made my day, it was exactly what I wanted to happen
hahaha this really happened?? that's soo awesome! I didnt hear when somebody said about kirk, I wouldve atleast looked up for a second I do remember the "stay focused!" part though.. MVH lottery madness and shady back-alley tradefest was the highlight of the day. awesome seeing everyone again and meeting new people as well.
WOW!! Totally awesome and classic pic! This is what it's all about! Now somebody hook me up with one of those colorful little bastards!
First off I would like to thank all the artist and brainers who where present at New York Comic con. You all made me feel right at home! The best thing about the Con was actually the experience of meeting and talking to each other. Sharing the passion!! Getting the toys I wanted actually was a second priority! I spoke to most of you via email or PM's at some point in the past but its nice to finally put a face to your names. Thank you, you know who you are!! Also I am guessing the experience was likewise. I know most of you thought, "Who the fuck is that crazy kaiju nut from the Netherlands!?" Time to shut the fuck up! And show you some cool stuff toys right about f*cking now! I'm glad I actually had a chance to hang out after picking up my Pushead stuff. I never get to just bs with folks since I usually rush back to Philly- glad it all worked out.
those Skull Toys guys! we communicated via calculator. I asked the guy in the hat if they had any unpainted necros left. I took his look of confusion as a resounding "no". people like these right ? couldn't leave without a pic of the Adventuretime float
I just feel sorry for the girl in back who had to wait while you guys mad the hard life decisions of pink arm, blue head, etc.
here's the few I took: rxh's stuff was awesome. Wish I had more money for a few. dunno what the story behind this was...
