yep . . . that one is pretty special. i've always kinda liked this sculpt but this colorway i really like! another one to add to the wants list.
Exactly, I think that's it: I've never been particularly interested in the sculpt/character, but this color scheme and paint style really speak to me...
i would never bring a sadako doll into the house on purpose. especially if it came in a video cassette shaped container. the well accessory is really fun, though. the glitter mazinga looks terrible like that! it also looks like it's suffering from a bad make-up job.
I don't know I like the Mazinger, clear paints over glitter. I'll bet it looks a lot better in person too. The Sadako is pretty awesome for what it is, but it doesn't really seem like something that needs to be vinyl.
I think that that Mazinger is the ParaBaby version. I have to agree, I am not sure what it is exactly, but somehow it just doesn't feel right. I think maybe it might be that there are just too much sparkles in the vinyl, making it more flashy than anything. Sadako is okay, not exactly my thing, maybe just too 'normal' as opposed to monster. I think a twisted pose would have done much more for this figure. As executed in vinyl, just kinda seems like a cool action figure to me.

That mushroom guy is big, I see all sorts of phone cases and cellphone charms/ straps for him too. Hes like the Angry Birds craze for Japan.
