Having a real shitstain of a week. It's only Wednesday. But, here is a new weirdo that showed up. Kanix from Ambassador Magma. He needs some hairdryer time and some reshaping, but for now he seems content to steal my tea. Another shot of the back and an okonomiyaki I made last weekend under the spoiler. I guess I really like the Ambassador Magma beasties. I seem to keep buying them. I need to put together a group shot. Spoiler
Couldn't afford this painted version but just got the blank black kit for 8K yen. They are still in stock.Trick is gonna be not impaling myself putting it together. I have always loved the box art on the original (see spoilers) Spoiler tumblr_njfkfyh6ow1sqf5tdo4_1280.thumb.jpg.3b89a534eb1cf5491d90fcbecd8b8edb by i thorn, on Flickr Spoiler post-16-0-36662400-1423923624 by i thorn, on Flickr Spoiler komatsuzaki-shigeru-bandai-harihari_1_efe76b8b8d3a5cd979aa4e143dd7db36 by i thorn, on Flickr
This thing is so fun! I came so close to getting one, but my collection doesn't really have room for robots. Still, sometimes they are EXTREMELY tempting and this is one of the best I've ever seen.
A couple great additions to the Hideshi Hino "Terror Collection" from Marmit. Not sure if Hideshi contributed designs that Marmit/Kazu developed into figures or what (anyone know?) Whatever the situation is, Kazu really did something special painting the inside of the translucent vinyls, with a bit more painting on the outside to create some neat special effects. It's hard to capture in photos. But I did my best to let you see a bit of it. That’s actually extremely boss. Even in just solid black. I’d love to add some silvers, gunmetals, and maybe even some matte blacks, keep it monochromatic. But it’s still really strong just as it is. Love that it still has a translucent dome!
Yes it looks very nice blank, daylight really makes the spikes shine. I had considered getting it painted but reckon Marmit nailed the og box art and that any other version would just look like a dodgy 'custom'. Modding it with some LEDs however could be fun.
Scored some more Ambassador Magma. Love this line. Not flashy. Just good ol kaiju. Birdora Gareon Drox
Filled in some holes in my UltraQ parababies today. Been after the turquoise M1Go for a couple years. The Goro/Namegon pair seem like a special paint run. The blue Goro normally has flesh tits not red, and the Namegon normally only has gold on the eyes, not on the front and back as well. I have a Ragon/Baloonga set that has some extra spray like this. Anyone know if this might be from a special event? "Red Tits" Goro
Loose, but together. One bag, no header. I think my Ragon/Baloonga set was the same, but I'm not sure.
Just wondering, since there have been a lot of Marmit samples circulating in the past year or two. A lot of them were similar to the production items with slight paint changes. Most of the samples were loose.

Space Godzilla is kind of a dick. (I just saw this one for the first time last week. It's on Hulu right now.)
@blakewest , wow! That is quite a parababies collection. Would you mind taking a current photo of the collection? It's a great reference! p.s. Middle shelf, far right, who is that little red guy with a mini volcano hat please? Nice Milbos by the way! p.p.s. Do you have those mini "whale" parababies? Can't remember the name? I think there are 2 or 3 types?
