oh dude, I sold all of these quite a while back in a sort of "i like toys, but f*ck this sh*t" purge. (haha, "butt fuck"? i just said that) anyway--back then, this was all i collected. it felt very liberating letting go of all of it. I have one rxh piece now and all my toys fit on one shelf (and not even the whole thing). but I found this pic the other day, and decided to put it up. EDIT: to add, it was good that I got out when I did. RxH kind of went underground again, and the adult figures were becoming more and more the norm. I didn't care much for a lot of the new stuff anyway and certainly couldn't afford to collect it the way I was going.
Yeah I remember being in awe of your (un)painted RxH collection when I first joined - weren't you nearly complete on all sculpts back then? edit: meant unpainted
on the sculpts, yes I think I was pretty close. I wanted an example of every character--i was going for a "definitive" RxH collection. I had micro, Mori handpaint, masked, free-hand, OG, sets, gift figures, and unpainteds, etc. it was a lot of fun, but expensive and almost an obsession.
Hey, Andy. I have this Exact same piece. Had no idea there were multiples of this version. Definitely one of my favorite glittery guys.
Here's my Popsoda collection so far . . . a few more choice ones to go and i think i will be done. Thanks again B. for the recent addition! Catbus loves Ekitai Chojin PopSoda by The Moog Image Dump, on Flickr
Some new recruits... Bioknuckle! The slick thing about this guy is that the weapon arm has a diagonal cut joint instead of a straight horizontal one (like most other RxH), so he can either have a straight arm or a little bit of an elbow. Ashuraman Chaos Ghost
Man, I really like all of the Bio-Knuckle releases so far, with the exception of the yellow one. The 'real-type' solid color choices make sense for this figure, rather than GID or clear. A black version with yellow or red eyes would be super slick! I'd also like to see light blue or light olive green... for obvious reasons. ;P
The red shoulder on the green one suggests to me that it's a Scopedog homage, so probably the grey one. That is the only release among the first four that was not a color homage to something else.
