I wouldn't remember Jon Favreau asked me for a Joe Ledbetter hook up at the Con a few years ago...hahaha.
I can't ask my accountant - he was crushed under a money bag avalanche in one of my many personal vaults.
I saw the senior citizen hipster guy on Storage Wars rocking a COOP jacket so that must mean COOP is famous.
That's Barry Weiss. Love that dude. prob knows COOP as he's into that whole Hot Rod scene too. although he never seems to make any money on the show, i get the sense that he's loaded. http://www.aetv.com/storage-wars/meet-p ... rry-weiss/
I get the same sense! If a locker has an old trunk in it its his, breaks everything in its way till he gets to it to find out that its empty. He has some sweet cars though.
Barry is my favorite on that show. I saw Darrell one at Disneyland. I yelled yuuuuuppp!! As he went by with his family on a tram. he didn't look very happy about that. He was rocking a signature tank top. Funny stuff.
Brian likes Danzig 'cause Danzig makes him feel tall. When 'Verotik' titles first came out I stood at the booth and he chatted pleasantly for quit awhile. Having heard stories about attitude I found him to be remarkable approachable and easy going. The comics I bought from him scarred me though! hahah.
i'm guessing any given "celebrity" can have those attitude moments with people. can you imagine the amount of douchbags you'd have to encounter? i bet his (or any celebrities) conversing with annoying people ratio totally outweighs the average persons.
John Waters threw major attitude at me once but I loved it. I don't know if he collects toys. David Geffen threw major attitude at me once and it was creepy. He's not allowed to collect toys.
Here is another on the field in color: http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news- ... o/76990022 What was the deal with that? Good luck charm?
Barry Weiss is a guy that I've known for years through the hot rod scene. He's bought a lot of art over the years, and that jacket is a one-off he had custom made after I told him I didn't make any jackets in that style. He & his brother run a big produce company, and I think he also used to be in the antique business with Jesse James' dad. In fact, I'm pretty sure that I met Jesse through Barry many years ago, when Jesse was Danzig's bodyguard, before all the chopper stuff. The conversation always returns to Danzig, don't it?
That's actually pretty cool that you know Barry on the personal level coop. He seems like a really cool dude with a sense of humor.
