^^^ Oooooh! I don't quite get what all the fuss is about re: Nag, but that is a great glow shot right there! I love how the GID orange paint looks like smeared and splattered blood.
The good thing with having a migraine all day is that you may actually be awake at night when the kids sleep and be able to take some glow shots. Woot! (and sorry for the double posting in other topics...)
Hey, great pics all. I've been trying to get a half-decent shot of a bunch of GID vinyl but cant seem to get it right. Can anyone lend any tips (technique, lighting, situ, camera settings...?) to get the best results?
I use Manual setting ISO 80 - set to 15 second shutter speed (with the macro turned on so you get nice close up detail) i don't have a tripod so i use a big lump of blue-tack to keep the camera in place - its surprisingly effective. Also, sometimes i put the figures on a shiny surface so you get a nice glow reflection . . . . .
All these beautiful glow pics are making me consider starting my own glow collection. Thanks for the inspiration guys.
*sigh* I'd love to give this thread an awesome glow shot but I'm a lazy piece of shit, with no patience for setting up a shot of that magnitude. Not to mention the trial and error involved would have me seeing red. Great pics from photographers with much patience!
