M1 made eggs that were filled with Bullmark mini repros. There is a green and yellow egg I think. First released in 2002.
I'm pretty sure these are the ones you saw.

Thank you RedYoda! :) Yes, the one I saw was the yellow one. Pretty cute but pricey. Thanks for the ID

Bullmark originally released the eggs in the 70's with one figure in it, and like RedYoda mentioned, M1go re-released an egg with Bullmark repro minis. The M1go eggs are actually a bit larger than the original Bullmark eggs.

Thanks for the additional info Hillsy11  . I think it's funny and ironic that the characters "hatched" in the Godzilla Eggs are actually the monsters Godzilla ends up fighting! :D

I've only seen an M1 yellow egg listed recently. I wonder what's in the green egg?

Thanks for the link Plover!
That green egg has that cute Mogera too! I JUST missed picking up the 1970 vintage blue/green Mogera in an auction last week, and I've been kicking myself ever since :x . It certainly was a nice toy at a good price too. Hope it went to a good home. :|

There were 3 KittyFire walkers up at one time!!! One reserve was not met. one starting at 100,000 Yen, and this one. Agreed, this is a great price and you never see the box.

The computer translation of the auction description is:
On the inside of the photo-like logo BURUMAAKU.
To name just can not see the photo in the middle is DAIGORO.

Type of organization, "the head four minutes × 1, the body of 4 minutes × 2, the left hand of 8 minutes × 1, the right of 8 minutes × 1, the left leg of 8 minutes × 1, the right leg of 8 minutes × 1" and are Lack of a four-minute head and body.

The type of slash-type is similar to the molding is not assured.
I leave you to decide more.

frame, rust-blue side of the body noticeable.
Please check the photo in the hope other.

    The size of the standard.

I recently saw that many toy molds went up for auction. Some posts were for mix-and-match "body parts". So, are these still useable, could you really cast your own "Bullmark" toy? If so, isn't this a copyright infringement? How did the seller get their hands on original molds? Why would anyone want to buy mix/matched molds?

Id sent a couple links of soem Ultraman molds to an og ultra collector just to get his take and hed said that they were expensive and at least one of the molds looked too beat to actually make a toy out of. Not these guys, but I'm guessing that theyre more for hardcore ephemera collectors than for potential bootleggers.

Saw those molds; someone is putting a couple more up every week. Thought they'd look cool in an antique/primitive setting but I don't have scratch or room for that right now. Still very intriguing, though. Seems like the sort of thing that big-time collectors and creators like Mr. Flynn or FK might make a nice office display from.

So looking at these molds and getting a general sense at this stuff, what is stopping someone from making vinyl toys in the U.S.?

I still think it's odd that the original company that produced the molds would release them "out into the wild". No telling what mischief they'd get into, even if they were partially useable.

So how do you think these are used? Pour melted vinyl, and swish it around on the inside, like making a monster omlette? Or, pour melted vinyl and put a "stopper thingy" in the middle? How do you get the vinyl to release from the mold? Pam spray? :? Sure would be fun to make your own toys

There have been a few threads discussing the toy production process. Just at random:

    http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=25187

    http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13923

    http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=20731

    http://www.skullbrain.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7548

I would imagine that the biggest factor weighing against producing these sort of toys in the U.S. would be emissions/pollutant regulations. My understanding is that the chemicals emitted during the production process are essentially toxic by our standards.

Well, since Bullmark isn't around anymore, it's not surprising their molds got out into collector hands. I think Rog mentioned somewhere that noone produces the vinyl needed for these in the US due to too many restrictions. Also, there's a good chance that the molds have degraded enough to affect the look of the vinyl toy. Plus, in order to make it worth your while, you'd have to be able to make enough to cover costs. I don't know how many folks would be banging down your door for a Daigoro reissue. ;)
