anyone have any knowledge of chinese sofubi materials and techniques? both of the medicom star wars sofubi releases were produced there...

 

I was wondering the same thing. I was disappointed when I got my Eyezon to find Made in China printed on the foot, but I really don't see any quality issues with it or anything.

 

Different process and the purity of the vinyl sometimes is subpar.

Also, oftentimes it's a matte sheen rather than gloss.

Don't ever think Toy Karma doesn't exist! This made my day. Boo Velvet traded me one of the few Popy Clears I needed, Kikaida! For some reason I could never find that guy. Just need Kamen Rider V3 now. What's even funnier is that in our PM exchange he joked about me being a northern yankee and I revealed that I actually was born outside Atlanta Ga, and have a keen appetite for southern cooking, namely grits:

Are you googlyeyes11 on eBay? I'm only asking 'cause this photo and the one I found on eBay under that name has an eerily similar look with this one. And call me paranoid, but I can see the exact same jeans underneath the toys in both photos.

 

I noticed that too and no I'm not. I know he's a member of this board and there's a thread in the whatever section about him. I'm godsendconspire13 if you want to find my eBay profile. And I learned my lesson when I first started on this board about flipping and eBay. So no I'd never do that again. And eff that a hole for winning this lottery
