@MoonspellxRites Great new additions there Manny. Nice to see some things like the KR guys you don't see shared much here, and the Iwakura lineup hiding in the back is always a great tickler of mine. Have to agree on the simply stunning colours on that Goji too, superb work! :)

@lavavoom Wintery crystal heaven. You must be amassing quite an army of snowmountain beasts now; that is a passion I can fully relate to.

@evom Wow, what a great toy you picked up there, Brent! So much fun, and reminds me so much of the dewback playing days of my youth.

@TattooDougHardy Oh myyyy, Doug. :o That guys is a massive beast. You don't often get a good sense of scale with a lot of these toys until you see shots like that. I usually don't go in for highly detailed/realistic toys, but I would welcomely make an exception in this fella's case. What a great showpiece, now you just need a giant Goji to have some fun toy battles with!

Yeah the great majority of what I love is the stylized and playful soft vinyls that we know and love (hence my Elegab obsession), but there are some things that I love for their 'realness' I guess you can say. I only have a few pieces like that (Hot Toys Captain Rex from the Clone Wars, Three Zero Guts from Berserk, and later this summer a Three Zero Hound from GoT) and this Hedorah was a must have in my books since he's my favorite Godzilla nemesis. Looking more at the X Plus site, I have a bad feeling that I'm going to try and start getting some of their perfectly detailed Ultra brothers. The Ace they put out in the past is particularly appealing to me but money...

That creepy wall walker's lookin a little blue. Time to feed!

Great grab, Reigun. Although I'm hoping a painted version based on the character's regular color scheme gets released, these sculpts are great as blanks. I have the green one.

Gleason's "Bad Guys Club" characters are going to translate so well into fun sofvi figures.

This is just one image of many showing only a small selection of some of the BGC members (it's from a tshirt I picked up):

Love that guy too, sort of wish I'd been able to jump in on the mixed parts fellas. But now, thanks to JP, I am going to need to have a full set of the gang. Gleason's characters are such a delight. And, if they were painted up like that illustration (ooh, envious of the shirt by the way :)) that would be even more ideal.

That is such a great Hedorah, Glenn. I love this version, different as it is, and the colours on that fella - WOW - stunning paint work with such a nice blend of colours in that classic colourway. People who think just slopping on more, brighter colours is the way to go need to pay attention to toys like this where the scheme actually works. Highly adorable and quality kaiju. Love him man, congratulations.

In total agreement with @ultrakaiju. I'm still not totally familiar with a lot of the older toys, but I do have a big soft spot for pollution monsters, and this is a pretty different Hedorah. Toygraph usually produces in a much smaller scale, no? But this is a perfect example of how several colors on a minimal spray scale can be intensely effective. I see a lot of toys just get tons and tons of colors sprayed in a lot of seemingly random fashion. Here, there's a lot of intent and aesthetic purpose to chosen colors and placement.

Nailed it, Robert. I think people are a bit more sedate about talking on the company, for a few reasons (that I won't go into now), which I can appreciate, but it does have a very avid following and remains one of my top makers. Toygraph actually did a number of larger (i.e. standard) sized figures as well, though it was mostly limited to Godzilla figures. You can see some of them on the CT site, and, for anyone that cares to, here is is Toygraph appreciation thread (sadly with some broken image links now).

I think I lucked out now that things are so calm in regards to TG @ultrakaiju - probably been passively chasing this toy down for a few years now. It's such a cute figure - I'm gonna group it with some Kappa Shonens in the next shelf rearrange :) Hawaiian works for everything - including pizza!!

My goodness, Steve, thank you for that Club Tokyo link! I never knew that site even existed, and I am fawning over the 8" Toygraph Gamera!!! The metallic blue and GID versions are so, so perfect. Ugh. A whole new sickness!

^ Oh you know it! :) I take it for granted I guess that people who collect some other parts of this hobby also know about ways to plumb the depth of licensed and vintage characters, but for sure, resources like Club Tokyo go a long way to educating people on what is out there, beyond the stuff so touted on social forums these days. I am very thankful for all of their efforts (Chris, Mike, and all the contributors) in creating such a useful site. I like to see it as a companion DB to Skullbrain, and I mean that in the greatest form of compliment.

Somethin' like that! Obviously I've known licensed characters are very much a thing in this hobby; it's the foundation! But never knowing Toygraph did an 8" Gamera until tonight...

Well as far as vinyl today i got this. The Dwarven Colossus from Gamestop.
Its not the best picture but the figure is truly fantastic in person. The paint is very good and not sloppy. The sculpt is really well done as you can see all the gears, rivets, bolts, scar's, etc on the toy. And if you are not familiar with this robot its found primarily in Elder Scroll games usually when encountering Dwarven ruin's and stronghold's. I know its a bit hard to see but it also sports a spartan mowhawk like most of the Dwarven humanoid robots do. It was also a super limited run as most stores got 2 at the very least.

And i mostly post my new Japanese vinyl's in the respective threads they go to. So this gives me something to talk about at least till my other stuff pops in.

Its cool to see this toy up close. Its had my interest for awhile now and i find the bumper car to add an extra layer of awesomeness to this toy. Your pictures are fine! In fact i think these are better than some of the ones posted for sales on the toy lol.

I have been away for a sec but I wasn't expecting PooPs to be something we talk about on here now. That's different.....
Also I didn't know Gamestop was the mail. So many changes in just a few months. Really not trying to be a dick but PooPs and all of Junkos other shit is everywhere I go and I really dont care to see it on here. They have plenty of other sites for that.
