Gaaahhh that Rainbow Negora! I missed out on that so many times.

Interesting. That looks like one of those RxH teddy bears but it has Negora paws. Whats the story on that one?

 

Right on the money. It's a Tamakuma bear, same as the RxH guys, but this time she collaborated with Konatsuya. The rainbow Negora was part of the same drop, produced by the other half of Chairoi Brown, so it's dyed vinyl instead of paint. The store that hosted this collab graciously offered them for international sale.

 

Ah, interesting. Glad to see them still being made.

The rainbow dye technique was always the signature of an artist called 'Shef'. I assume somebody else has mastered the technique ...

 

I was unclear; it's from Shef. I'm honestly unsure if "Chairoi Brown" is another name for him, or the name of the rainbow toy + teddy team he forms with his wife.

 

Cool, glad to see he's still doing his awesome shiz. I like the idea of couples making art together. I think I'm correct in saying Atom A. Amaresura's wife often paints his work. I bet thats not the only example.

 

Only a four year hunt, give or take, so it wasn’t a massive quest. But this is my Target Earth grail. And after having one slip through the cracks by way of a steep price earlier this year, I’m very happy to have happened across this one on Mandarake.

Everything that came in today was a pleasant surprise. Each is my first version of the sculpt, and I'm so impressed with the size and quality of everything. I always assumed the Shirokumaya bears were fairly close to standard size, but instead they're almost as small as Kumon, perfect pocket toys. The trouble of course is that now I know I have space for more

While the Leo Serpent was more of an impulse buy because I like this paintjob, the same applies--you can line a shelf with them, and they're very fun to handle. Vinyl quality really stands out on that one too, glossy and just a little squishy.
