I thought this had already happened with SunGuts and M1 a while back...
I almost forgot! This wonderful set from Wonderfest 2007
Many thankies Toy Angel!
^^^ To-Ho-Ho! Merrrrry Christmas!
This is not a racer but it is Toygraph and fits in with the holiday sentiment. Merry Christmas to all !!
Mr. Humphreys, someone is VERY COOL.
Gah! Maybe it's the season, but that might have just jumped up into the top 10 of my list! In the running for the best godzilla toy ever?
Grace, that Gezora is GORGEOUS! You're a lucky lady!
Damn...I might need that purple Gorosaurus! It'll probably be the closest I'll ever get to a "real" one!
YESSUMS liquidsky! Toy Angel is VERY VERY VERY COOL!
Good luck Sanjeev! And thanks for that reference, I might have to re-adopt another Bullmark Gorosaurus, it's a really fun figure to play with, at least my dearly departed Mr. Humphreys thought so... And Good luck to everyone who is hunting for the Racers!
P.S. Does anyone know whatever became of Mr. Toygraph? Did he recover from his illness? Wish he were able to read our Boards, then he'd know that he's devoted his life into making a lot of people both young and old, very very very happy!
Happy New Year everybody!!!
Sunguts & M1 are a large part of my collection... so just point me and my moth-filled wallet at it!
Always thought this used the Toygraph mold, but maybe I'm mistaken:
Can't find pics of the M1, but I thought I remembered seeing them up for auction years ago.
I think all the Suiko kappa figures were Sunguts, Peter.
I'm not aware of Kashimoto-san's condition...and I respect his privacy about the matter. I just hope he's with loved ones and isn't uncomfortable.
The Suiko Kappa figures are sunguts, but the car is the toygraph car. It has the Japanese characters for Toygraph on the bottom.
I've always wanted to work something out to do a version of Wormrah in the toygraph car... little guy would almost fit already as it is.
Thank you Sanjeev! Yes, I hope he is being cared for and surrounded by friends and family. Just had to ask, as it makes me feel sad to know he's ill
Thank you Oli! My Toy Angel is heavenly kind!
Liquidsky, thank you for posting the Sunguts Racer, it's interesting to see that! Now if there was ever a chance to have Butanohana Racers produced, that would be really really nifty!
You have me drooling...
Another great pic I found on the net:
I love that one, I believe it is bye either toothaction, Grumble Toy, or ungawa.
Definitely by our dear David, aka Toothaction
Heddy is rather hard on his brakes!
ButaRacer ButaRacer ButaRacer...... Ohmmmmmm... should be our new Mantra
Got news that mr toygraph is alright now.
Although toygraph the company is no more.
^^^ That's such great news! I'd heard a report much to the contrary just a couple of months ago. Good for him.
Fun to see my racer pic end up here from a search - tags work!
I usually just do a google search and then switch to "images".
Thank you for the update Maxaltoman! It's good to hear that he's recovered! Hope you are able to resolve your toy orders--good luck!
Another image posted on the internet--Zegoran racer (with torso!)
...and also the very first Racer that mesmerized me, Red King!
As Steve documented, here are the 2006 Wonderfest Sets (nice photos from a recent auction):
Series 1: Kanegon, Red King, Icarus
Series 2: Garamon, Eleking, Astron
Series 3: Booska, Gorosaurus, Hedora
So... Much... Beauty...
