Thanks for the info! Their price seems a little high, per figure, for the current vinyl market, or is this just me? Aren't these "can prices"?
Pricing is what it has to be considering what we paid. Aside from our exclusive for which we were given a very good price, I haven't seen a difference in price for ones with the can vs. without the can. Shipping can be a little more for the ones with the can, though. As for the $38 price seen elsewhere, all I can say is that is less than I paid for them taking into account shipping from Japan. Don't get me wrong, I'm not here telling you to buy them from us if you can get them for less elsewhere....just noting that price-gouging is something we're firmly against. We mark things up the amount we need to make a living, pay rent and employees, etc. No less, no more.
Don't worry I thought the 38 was too much for these. I love the troopers but they just aren't worth the cash for the size and quality at retail.
Mark Nagata sent me an email letting me know today that "according to kaijmoto-san they will not be making any more of these (space trooper robots)". So if you want one, now is the time. I wonder if the reaction of most of us to these got back to him, or if it was intended as a one time thing? In any event, I got my set off YJA a couple weeks ago but have not seen them in person yet. Anyone got any more info on this?

False alarm. Guess what? After I posted what I learned from Mark in order that no one missed out on the new robot toy troopers, he got an email saying that Kajimoto-san is going to release other type of SR-01 soon, just not in a "cheap plastic style", but in regular painted versions. You know what this means, right Space Trooper fans? Kajimoto-san pays attention to skullbrain. You should all post your wishes! Teaches me to open my mouth.
Okay: more clear bodies with glow heads (painted and unpainted...like the VX's), please! Looking forward to SR-01's and Death13's in this style!
