Yeah, that would be cool too, especially if it was blue GID. It is not so easy to make out, but on this version (there is also a non-GID one with grey Ultraman) the base is translucent vinyl, whereas the other one is opaque navy blue.
Not such a big Kanegon fan, but my Toygraph family contains a few versions of the silly coin eating monster. Maybe that is why I am so broke all the time (and can never find coins for the laundry).
^^ Really? To each his/her own but I think that's the worst toygraph figure ever. A lot of the design seems forced. And I can't get this image out of my head. Thanks sanjeev!
Been a while since this thread has had any activity, so here is another photoshoot of a classic MG in his partial transformation guise. Really a genius concept for a sculpt, and executed masterfully. I wish more companies would take on this concept. And the usual nice colours great and heft to this guy I have come to expect from TG.
Your 25% transformed MG look 100% awesome! Until this very moment I thought that I could live without one. Congrats on another beautiful edition to your growing family of Toygraph wonders.
Thanks D! Though this is actually the 25% transformed version. Not so new, but finally got around to posting some decent pics of him. As for the Toygraph family, I am always welcoming new adoptions, so feel free to send me any strays that come a-knockin'!
Look up - I DID say 25%! I'll be doing my own TG bump pretty soon. I'd apologize in advance for how the pics will crush your very soul if you didn't already know what was going to be in them.
Does anyone know what's up with the racers suddenly being offered for... Well, lots of money? Did they really retail for that much? Notice I said "being offered", not "being sold".
If you are talking about the ones passing through Mandarake, they have gradually been skyrocketing for a while now. Especially some of the harder to come by ones have been priced like crazy - and have sold. This has just let to continual hiking of the price, I am sorry to say. I have been trying to build my collection of them at reasonable prices, but it sure has not been easy. It also doesn't help that they are just killer toys.
Just my luck. Haven't they heard I'm not into hyped toys? I'm not going to start forking 7-10000 yen for minis...
An itty-bitty racer sold on Mandrake yesterday for 10,000¥! Kinda depressing. Maybe it's just that the tires are really well made ANYWAY... The Daiei portion of my Toygraph corner just got 75% bigger... and 100% brighter! Toygraph "Toy Graph" Gamera Viras diorama mini midi Daiei
No, definitely Toygraph - at least as far as I know. You can see the headers for them in the 'mail' thread.
