sorry. • Now there are going to be two animated Tron shows -- one debuting in the fall, and one debuting after the movie hits in December. The first will be a 10-part cartoon micro-series, geared for younger kids, and the latter one will be CG and targeted for an older audience. For now. taken from toplessrobot
Arcade Aid This is part of the ERG that's going on around Tron Legacy. Even if you aren't into the film, identifying all of the classic games was fun. It took me about 20 minutes, but I got them all.
I am so excited for this! Hello?! Daft Punk is doing the music! Actually I'm more excited about the music than the movie...
I'm really really looking forward to this, if even for just the visual aspect. That and the entire movie being scored by Daft Punk is also gonna be amazing.
I'm genuinely into seeing this, but must say: Looks like everyone's apartments in the Tron world are just like that apartment where the old guy dies at the end of 2001.
F'n badass! Been waiting for this and a while and I haven't been pumped to see a movie in ages. I love Tron and watched it I don't know how many times when I was growing up.
Digital Jeff Bridges = Creepy Zombie Guy He's rendered all pretty but he's still somewhere in the uncanny valley. I really want this to be good but I'm getting nervous the more I see.
Oh... That explains that. Maybe it will work since the CGI version is "evil." http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE66M5U120100723 "One of the big technological leaps we're trying to take with this film is in our villain, Clu, who is played by Jeff Bridges, but he looks like Jeff Bridges did in 1982," Kasinki said.
Another trailer? TRON: LEGACY Official Trailer # 3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUkxAH28 ... re=channel
After the first trailer I've refused to watch any others. I like to go into movies knowing as little about them as possible. Pretty excited about this movie, but trying to keep my expectations in check.
The new trailer tagline is: “It’s a princess story that will enthrall the girls, an adventure tale to entertain the boys, all with enough good humor to make anybody laugh.”
I find the first Tron movie to be pretty boring. I always find myself falling asleep trying to watch it. The new one looks flashy and all, but I'm pretty skeptical about how good the writing and story will be. Eye candy for sure though.
I think the original is fantastic. Interestingly, as a kid it bored me, but as an adult I really enjoy it - both the story and the aesthetics. Going to be watching it again before going to see the new one.
I didn't like the first movie at all. Saw it in the theater when it came out. Then on VHS. Then on DVD. Bored the crap out of me. But this film looks like something that will be an awesome event to see in a theater. I'm going opening day.
Really awesome 15 mins of behind the scenes. Spoilers ahead! But cool nonetheless.... check it out http://gizmodo.com/5696554/15-minutes-o ... the-scenes
