Not Ultraman-specifically related, but as it was posted on the 'official' Ultraman channel, might as well share this here. Just something cool I came across today, though the original post actually goes back to 2018. Cultures Factory, as part of an effort to support relations between Japan and the Middle East, helped create an Arabic documentary on the lesser-known show Kyoryu Daisenso Aizenborg (恐竜大戦争アイゼンボーグ), called Return of Izenborg, which documented some of the history and production of the show [one of the few productions to combine live-action tokusatsu themed battles (superhero and dinosaur) with anime and space themes. A pretty creative endeavour. In any case, they then made a Japanese-language version of this documentary, which Tsuburarya Productions started airing. While bot languages might be a bit out of grasp for the general SB audience, at any rate the video allows you to see some great sections - and new footage! - of an otherwise hard to find show. So pretty cool just for entertainment alone, but also insight into this era. More info here.
Thanks for sharing that steve. Ive always been curious about that show. Super unique premise. Love the vehicle design too. Would love to see that show subbed someday
Well, it's out... and from what I have been able to glean from Google- and Insta-translated posts about it, people are digging! Also Alt's Twitter post, and TTB's spoiler-free semi-review. I'm psyched and crossing fingers and toes it plays theatrically within reasonable driving distance from me...
I am super amped as well, still waiting (but honestly not expecting either) those international release dates. But otherwise, as soon as this is available as hardcopy I will be down for an excited viewing.
A brief preview of the movie was posted on YouTube today. It's very short but chock full of kaiju: Spoiler I absolutely LOVE how Shin Gomess is just Shin Godzilla with some embellishments.
Haven't watched the video, but remaining very amped for this one. Just wanted to say a big 'Thank you' to @old_seaweed for using the Spoiler tag.
