Sorry, no mean to promote anything but I saw something similar on Mandarake a couple of days ago... just plain ridiculous.

 

Did Secret Base get a hold of the original mold, or partner with the original company, or something else?

 

i remember seeing an original mold on e-bay for the ooze-it not long ago. Maybe SB bought it up.

 

Yes, that's what I was discussing with Dedo the other day and we came to the same conclusions. Looks like it at least.

 

Get the mold, rehash on an industry full of turnover that people think less and less of. Secret Base should really not be doing that.

 

I think this is more likely a Hiddy pet-project rather than a plan for world-domination or an attempt to screw anyone over!

 

He wanted his own black ooze for his own black collection and was nice enough to make some extras

 

That does put it in perspective. I mean, if anything of the sort is the case, it would be interesting.

Hiddy has LONG been a fan of Ooze-it - way before the current wave of Ooze-it tribute mania. As mentioned above - its a pet project.

The middle man price on that though is insane - wonder what it retailed at? Does anyone have any more info on the version releases at SuFes? Looks like it came in a case or some such. Also interested if its squishy vinyl.

The black ooze-it was secretly released at the super festival during the afternoon. I saw a guy buying it, so I asked Hiddy for it and he told me that was for 20.000¥. I didn't buy it.
I think there were also a yellow-orange version also sold at the recent wonder festival, not in a box, but in a bag with a "Thai bootleg toy" style header. I don't know if that's an original bootleg from Thailand or a SB toy.

Yep - as were the matching Duck Hunt camo Nike Air Max 90's. Haven't wanted a new pair of sneakers for a while - but those I like. Checked all over, and so far, Atmos release only.

...and it's just been brought to my attention that the gold lame Obake I posted about was already sold through Secret Base. Apologies... Not sure if something was lost in translation, but I was under the impression these were the only 10! If anyone purchased thinking it was a different figure, let me know and we can cancel the order.
