They look like Pus's interpretation of the standard Skull Brain arms to me, which I really like. Don't know if that's what they are meant to be, but they're cool nonetheless!
It's in this thread somewhere but once the hevi "proto" was released they talked about changing the arms.
Looks like there was also a black or dark brown marbled version that was released. Can't wait to see one of these painted up. I'm surprised there hasn't been a release yet.
theres no way in hell i'd assemble that! i'd figure out a way to display him liek he is pictured, but standing up
i'd assemble it too, honestly. it's just me, but i'd appreciate it more that way... or i'd trade my unassembled for someone's assembled not that i have one, of course...
Do you know how hard it is to get an uncut Secret Base figure and near impossible to get a uncut Skullwing!!
why would anyone assemble this? It is so amazing to get an uncut one...would look much better framed in a box, rather than trying to hack & slash your way into assembling it. I look at this as I would a rare vinyl album pressing...some things you just don't want to fuck around with and enjoy it for what it is, a rare version of a cool toy.
I'm most likely in the minority, but I can't get too into the Skull Hevi. My opinion would probably change if I saw one in hand to appreciate it more, but I won't break the bank for one or lose my shit in a rush to a release. I will say I love the new bare knuckle hands, though. I'm huge on the gloves for SB fighters, and these ones just reinforce that fight toy feel for me. Might be out of place to say, but I wouldn't mind these arms/hands on a few new Skull Brains.
Pics or it didn't happen! Personally I don't know what I'd do if I had one. I may have to cut it! It's a toy which would never leave my collection. And it looks like rusty metal to boot! As for the new hevi... I don't know if I'm on board with the cape, but I would like a clearer shot of the whole new arms unobstructed. But those skullwings are tops on my list for now!
