Re: New Secret Base Where is Andy ?? Who is this person that keeps agreeing with me ?? For fucks sake your scaring me, at least disagree on principle or something
Re: New Secret Base The last time I got an SB lucky bag was when I scored an unpainted orange Usugrow Rebel, and this was like 3 years ago... I think a considered "heavy weight" toy will be included in each bag. But usually, there are 2 kinds or so, of this rare toy: at that time, its either an unpainted Rebel or another one, I couldn't remember, a Pus figure? But I got a Rebel, and a Clear Skull 1/1, and a neat Usugrow Bandana. The stickers, cellphone accessory, mugs, key chains , towels, cd (I got a Death By Gun by the way), etc are all, well I consider bonuses....whether you like em or not, its gonna be included. Now for those prices of the LBs I've seen, there's GOTTA be at least one rare toy in each bag! Not just random, unsold items. So...where are these rare finds? I guess we have to wait. The unpainted marbled Usugrow for one is a neat Lucky Bag toy--I just dunno know which bag was it included and how much was the bag.
Re: New Secret Base i was told unpainted rebel captain was found in 10,000 yen bag, which was why i took chance with 10,000 yen bag
Re: New Secret Base you guys should stick to apple japan's lucky bags. look at what just $430 got you this year: yup, that's an ipad 2. some folks got macbook airs plus all the other stuff. that's value.
Re: New Secret Base i think secret base towels and coffee mugs are awesome. i just can't fathom dropping that kind of cash to get a bunch of that stuff at once. and the shoe thing? even if i was guaranteed to get my shoe size right, i still don't think i would pull the trigger. people just really need to stop buying this, at least for one year. maybe they would get a hint. but it would never work. the dreams of pulling something rare or whatever is just to strong in people... not into rebel inks (though those new red/white marbled captains are stellar!) or those babies with the wings. i negotiate prices on clothing at garage sales, so secret base apparel is definitely out of the question for me.... basically, if i'm not guaranteed a shit ton of kick ass fight figures i would be disappointed. not much of a gambler i guess... on the other hand, i am in the party of those intrigued by the spongebob stuff. bob & patrick are awesome characters. i would like to see a normal version, clear (with or without guts), & the skeleton get-up. punk junk isn't a hot ticket to me. but overall, the branching out to different franchises i see as a good thing for sb.
Re: New Secret Base I think it also has to be looked as a gamble in general. I personally bought sports cards on a regular basis just to hopefully get a high priced card. Ive dropped $56 bucks on a pack to get nothing but shit. Its all in the gamble. Living where I live, I'm surrounded by casinos. I think Id rather drop the cash on something like this then any of the damn atlantic city casinos. On that note, anyone interested in a 2010 Mets oliver perez signed bat piece card numbered to 30? Didn't think so.
Re: New Secret Base Weren't the ratios of getting something good last year on the highside? I saw many people with at least one good toys and about two people with complete shit.
Re: New Secret Base For me the find of this years bag is the eyeball headed Obake Dog - LOVE that thing!
Re: New Secret Base i usually don't purchase lucky bags. I don't like the risk. If there is one or two figures that i really want, i'll try to get them on the after market. it's sort of like a very expensive blind box toy. and I hate blind box toys.
Re: New Secret Base Is that a Porter tote bag? That's worth about half the cost altogether. Amazing. Fucking amazing. Super jealous!
Re: New Secret Base ^Yep. I hate blind box toys. "Oh let's spend a lot of money on something I'm not guaranteed to get and most likely won't get, but duh oh well i'll buy it anyways." Lucky bags are the same... They always seemed like a frivolous waste of money.
