Man, the condition on that Earthron is amazing. Looks like he never got played with.
It's funny that you posted that, as I just re-read the Super7 magazine with the article by Bryan about the Bullmark sparklers, yesterday.
    Very nice pick up.

Thanks! I was always on the fence about the sparkers. I love the concept of them, but they are so malproportioned that they really did not not appeal to me for a very long time. I am still sort of on the fence about them. I think I like this one the best, and I wanted to get one in hand to form a better opinion. I need time to better digest this!

This is the last vintage vinyl in my batch. Sorry, no more to share for a while. Hopefully this will sate the group until someone else snags some new (old) stuff. Another long time want for me, but the prices of this sucker have always been high (well, at least higher than the more common Bullmarks). Also, so many of these are so paint-worn. I was hoping to find one with still-decent app.

Fantastic color on the King Zaurus. Mine doesn't have that bright blue at all.

Oh it really is! The KZIII is one of those Bullmark toys that is a must on my list of vintage to track down, when I have a bit more funds to do so. They are - understandably I think - on the higher end, and harder to come by, but oh so worth it. Yours is one of the best examples of paint and colour I have seen. Such a beautiful combination of the darker teal and lighter blue, it is fantastic! The colours also balance out with the bright pink of the vinyl so well. The red chest is just the right accent, and I love how the paint jusy captures all of the ridges of the sculpt, like beautiful ripples on his skin. Everything comes together just perfectly in this toy. I especially like the little extra touch of paint on the side of his mouth on yours, gives just the extra bit of 'shadow' effect. Such a wonderful toy you managed to find there. Very massive high five and vintage hug for him, and for all the family you have taken in lately. Excellent stuff Myles!

Thanks, guys. Damn, uk, your detailed write-ups really make me look at stuff in a new way! You always make me appreciate my stuff 100 times more than I ordinarily would! ;)

Finally started unboxing the toys I've accumulated during a home remodel  . I was able to buy the Nornas display cases this weekend, so that means toys come out of their cocoons and get a bath!

Here is the first pile of toys...

Oh happy day! I'll never know how you were patient enough to keep all of those beauties hidden until the time was right.

I know! I have 3 copier-paper boxes of toys to bathe in the near future, all tucked away under my desk!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped me amass this beautiful pile of plastic, especially my dear Toy Angel (a big hug for you! <3) :D

P.S. See those three red dinos with the metallic blue streaks, and the green steggie on the right? Those are Nakajima magnetic-head dinos. Each body comes with 3 heads. Neck and bottom of head have magnet discs so you can stick on the different heads at different intervals. I ADORE them, and it took quite a long time for them to appear again on JYA, after I missed them the first time. The colors on the red/blue guys are vivid and very groovy :D

Wow! Thanks for posting those photos with the original packaging! Really spiffy!   Alas, my steggie only comes with one head, but he was thrown in with a "lot" purchase, so the price was very decent. Magnet head dinos are really fun toys! I'm surprised they don't make more magnet-head kaiju action figures...

Well this OLD lady, still has to soap up more toys, and then hopefully, I'll have more decent photos to take, when they are clean and ready to put into the display cases... ;)

I can't wait to see your cases Grace. I'm living vicariously through Vintage Mail Day, M1go, and Buta threads here! I think you're over your legal Tiger 7 Standard size limit though. You might have to sell one to me. ;)

Ha! But I do have 7 Tiger 7's! 3 old + 3 new (in the pic) + 1 more (gloved!) not washed yet (do bagged figures still need to be washed?). I was trying for an army of 50, but dang, they are so expensive now! A wallet breaker for sure Chris!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the hold-box Tigers. For some reason I thought you were stalled at four.

Wow, that is completely bonkers Grace!! I know that even we have been waiting for so long to see these toys, so I can't even imagine what it was like for you to have them wrapped up this whole time. Such lovely acquisitions, Tiger Mask, Zazahn, Garamon, TG racers - ach! - where to begin? The magnetic head dinos are definitely an amazing highlight though. So nice to see you have a full set of the upright guys (plus extra heads). I can't wait to see more photos of all these toys. And, I have said it before, but I will say it again - we need to see your whole T7 family! It is staggering you have collected so many of that miraculous fella; that is some real dedication and I know my jealousy is not unique on this board in spying that family.

Mucho congratulations on the toys and the unpack!

Hi Mark, good to hear from you! Thank you and everyone for your nice comments  . Right now, it doesn't seem like a lot of toys, but I suppose a lot more Buta and Racers have to come out and get their baths  , so perhaps the pile will grow (nothing as impressive as Mark's or Jim's collection, that's for sure!!! :D ).

Hey Chris! Things move g-l-a-c-i-a-l-l-y slow in my burrow. The Nornas cases are still in the garage, waiting to be assembled, along with 5 clothes drawer chests and a desk. My carpenter has to find time to fit me in his schedule, so he'll probably assemble them in stages. AND, the Nornas has raw wood, so I have to go to the hardware store to look at paint colors to have the panels painted too! The carpenter is going to assemble one to see how it will look on the walls, then I have to choose paint colors, and the panels will be painted, and then all the cases will be assembled.

In the meantime, the other toys are still slumbering under the desk (I have 3 deadlines tonight  ), awaiting their baths. ...so, it's still gonna take awhile until everyone is bathed, everything is painted and assembled, figure out where to hang the cases (they are going to be wall mounted so the giant kittees don't create a disaster knocking things over), and then there is the whole logistics of arranging the toys in the cases! :D

I'll post more pics as bath time permits, and then hopefully more pics of all the toys in their cases ;) Thank you for cheering me on, you guys are the best!

P.S. Steve, I'm also looking forward to seeing all of the Tigers assembled to do the macerena too! ;)

I'm just messing with you Gracie. I kind of forgot about the assembly stage of IKEA furniture, which depending on luck of the draw can be 5 minutes or 5 hours if you got missing pieces/parts and/or not aligned pre drilled holes.

I know what you mean about those deadlines. Trust me. I'm just excited for the sharing, it's like new unearthed treasures are getting ready for exhibit!

Ha! Well you ought to know all about the frustrations of assembling Ikea stuff ;) , and that's why I'm leaving it to my carpenter friend. He's wonderful, he doesn't care if things fit perfectly or not, he'll make it fit, and he has all the tools of the trade. I'm hoping to get everything in place before Christmas, but in addition to work there are some family things that also need attending to. I'll definitely post more post-bath teaser photos. There's a lot more racers, that's for sure! ;) <-- They are going to go perfectly with Martin Harris's Kaiju Zoo painting, hanging above them

Hi, sorry, the reveal is going to be delayed. My kittee, Henry is going into surgery this week :( , so please send healing thoughts his way. Toy baths and unpacking will be delayed for a week or so, if all goes well. Jojo, here is the painting I have from Martin, it is a water color painting -- "Kaiju Zoo"
As you can see, having the painting hanging over a display case of Toygraph Racers is perfect!
Thanks again Martin (oops, I haven't unpacked the painting yet  )

Sorry for the delay, but sick kittees come first

Grace, completely understand. Sending positive thoughts and well wishes your way.
Hope Henry gets well soon. Glad that painting went to a well deserving home.
I always loved it, Guiron's expression just cracks me up.

I remember seeing that painting in person down in South Florida at a show. Sooooooo good, and I always remembered it so vividly. Congrats!

(Also, share the wealth on those Tigers! ;) )
