Really in like soft japanese vinyl or are you talking about those american toy lines from when the cartoon was hitting
I would love to see this ape make it into production. I started another thread with this same subject , but feel free to ignore that one and continue this one.
I'd love to see the creatures from The Guyver be made into production kaiju. Even the Guyver himself would be super rad as a sofubi figure.
I'm sure everyone is familiar with Konatsuya's Negora and Shibara... I really would love to see her Kyubirosu made into a toy.
I've said it before, I'll say it again... this trio, with swappable human-Lectroid heads (or human-form masks that fit over the Lectroid heads) for Bigboote and O'Connor: I put this bug in Akamatsu-san's ear a little while back, and he liked the idea... my fingers are still crossed!
...I think I'm going to faint, this is the most amazing toy news I've heard all week aside from Permafrost Shub.
There are classics being translated into toy form all the time, but Tengu's abscence, and from various makers, truly surprises me. Alas, for sure it will happen. Ha, Great Call! I love these figures
Arena 1989 A few characters IMO would make a great vinyl toy series. Hilarious outfit the hero fighter wears.
Shikaruna Kobo has made 2 version of the Green Slime. Pre-adult and full adult version. Photo of my pre-adult version with the short arms released Feb 2014.
I always liked this character from the old Archie TMNT comics.. Think it would make a great toy! Not sure how easy certain pieces of it would be to pull from molds though..
Good looking pic, ck. Yeah, this toy was a nice prediction by Biff (before they were made). My favorite version still has to be the Day Glo Green Adult w' his Omake. [Awesome image, and toys, belong to fett42]
I bought one cheap at a swap meet because of the fond memories, but would actually be awesome if it looked more like the picture above.
I'd also be fine with just about anything from Fantastic Planet being in vinyl. I'd also really like to see some Miyazaki characters done in a vintage sofubi style, particularly from Laputa (the robot), Nausicaa (Ohmu, God Beast, Heedra, Teto) and the Totoros. There are toys of all these guys, but they are always hyper detailed kit type figures, would love something that looked more like a Bullmark or Butanohana.
