I know you can download it to on your phone but can you interact with others who have it?
Haha. I don't have as much patience as did when I played them on the GBA.
i’m a huge mega man/mega man x fan (can still pass mm2&3 blindfolded and mmx is my all time favorite game of all time), but to tell you the truth, i’ve never picked up a zero series game i guess now’s the best time!
I think the phone game is Pocket Camp, which I know nothing about, and the one we're talking about is New Horizons for the Switch. You can visit other people's islands and have them travel to yours as well. My girlfriend chased me around mine waving an axe.
Suddenly aware of how much I'm spending on new games, but hey, not a lot else to do in my downtime. Doom Eternal is an absolute triumph. If you liked 2016 at all, try it out. It addressed all my problems with the first game, added plenty of new stuff to keep momentum high and encourage exploration, and packs a welcome bump to difficulty. Can't remember the last time I actually got stuck for a good half-hour in a shooter.
yeah, pocket camp is the one for mobile and has been out since 2017. You can visit other people’s camps, but you can’t do much outside of wandering around and watering plants. it’s not half as interactive as the console/handheld offerings. pocket camp is like the lite version. that being said, after not playing it for a couple of years, i’ve picked up pocket camp again since we closed schools down and have been wasting time on it.
You guys NEED to pick up Doom 64 for the Nintendo Switch! Best 5 dollar game you can get ahold of right now. Old school shooter with a few new surprises and upgraded gun models. Great scary music as well as some much needed quality of life tweaks. If your not familiar with the game or passed the Nintendo 64 entirely nows your chance to try it out.
I’ve never actually played Pocket Camp, I have a bit of an addiction issue with mobile games and have been doing a good job of limiting my gameplay to just casually playing Pokémon GO.
Animal Crossing NH has been so much fun so far. Two of my friends and I were visiting each other’s islands last night while in a Messenger group call, it was an absolute riot. I just got my third islander to move in. Not sure how many can live on my island, but I’m looking forward to finding out!
Do it. The Zero games are much more difficult IMO but still fun. I definitely agree with MMX,2 and 3 being faves bui I do think 4 is my favorite though.
Still haven't fun with Animal Crossing, but there are a couple of little annoyances. The week-one content gating is unnecessary, in my opinion. I would have liked to have all the tools (and all functional buildings) on day one. Two-player local play is a bit strange, too. You share one inventory, so anything player two picks up goes to a bin at one of the buildings in town; the upside is player two has indestructible tools. I think the breakable tools are the most frustrating part of the game for me. If you asked me "which game series needs a durability system" I would have never said "Animal Crossing".
Also playing some Pokemon HeartGold on the side. I scored a shiny Totodile last week, and that prompted me to hop back in and play with some of the other shiny monsters that had been just sitting in a box.
actually got through the opening level of the 1st zero installment today. have to get used to the controls a bit, took me a couple lives to figure out how to use the saber. liking it so far though, and the little cut scenes. that still of zero deactivated looked awesome.
Ive been playing CoD Warzone. Mostly the plunder matches though. I kinda hate battle royale games. I want Animal Crossing but I don't have a Switch unfortunately.
Whoops, wrong thread
Trying my hardest to beat Contra 3.
Smashing Dragon Quest 11 S right now. It’s keeping me sane.
Alien: Isolation is $2 over at Steam today (normally $40)! Just found out, if not woulda posted sooner.
PlayStation is offering the first 3 Uncharted games free for download as well as “Journey”. I just finished the first Uncharted, and while it’s showing it’s age a bit being from 2007 it was decent, and from everything I heard and read 2 & 3 are drastically improved and fantastic games. The only reason I haven’t started them is because Borderlands 3 just dropped a new event over the weekend so I’ve been grinding that.
Journey is a beautiful, fun, quick game that you should check out if you never played it before.
I watched my ex play all 3 of them, I can’t remember which but one of them was SO damn epic. Definitely worth playing.
I’ve been playing more World of Warcraft. There’s a double EXP and double Reputations buff going on right now. I made a Demonology Warlock, and he’s literally at level 119 now. Just one more dungeon to go and I can start collecting welfare epics.
I actually thought The Last of Us 2 was pretty good, warts and all. 8/10 on the banana meter.
I am currently mid game on tlou2 and I’ve loved it so far. I think I’m about 65-75% done and it’s been intense. I can’t wait to see how it ends, because I can’t see how it’s going to.
I'ma getting old . . . the thought of playing video games just seems like a waste of the time I have left!
Hell! Even scanning this thread has gotten me 5 minutes closer to death!
Animal Crossing daily my daughter loves it. Downloaded Okami HD (only 10 bucks on eshop!)
It ends like complete ass. A total waist of money and im glad I watched the leaks 2 months prior to making my decision. Poor writing all around and definitely not a 10/10 like these shill gaming journalist would like you to believe.
I was satisfied with the ending. I didn’t like it, and would have preferred the characters had made different choices. I felt for both characters in the end.
I didn’t agree with many of the choices the characters made, especially Ellie... but I understand them. And it was her story, not mine... I felt terrible that at the end she realized vengeance isn’t the answer, and that it cost her everything. Including her last connection to Joel (losing the ability to play the guitar). I wish As a player we could have had the option to be merciful, or forgiving... but that’s just my personal feelings.
sorry you didn’t like it.
Your satisfied that Ellie went all the way out to California, and killed all those ppl, watches her mentor and friends die than at the very cusp of getting the pay off that she did deserve especially after getting her fingers bit off by some dike decides "well hell I guess I'll just drop it!". Common man you know that was stupid. The whole damn story was pointless. Sorry if it was me I'd be torturing that b i tch slow as hell.
The point of it all was violence only begets violence, and revenge can consume a person if they let it control them. It was a sad ending to a sad story; but it could have been worse. Ellie just barely makes it out with her humanity. Barely. And she loses all the love she had in her life. Not just her father figure. It wasn’t satisfying or happy. But that’s how some stories go.
And just for the record, knock it off with the slurs. They don’t belong here, not matter how annoyed you may be. And it doesn’t make any sense anyway- Abby was a straight girl, and Ellie is the lesbian.
