My wife has a pet dog, but he's off limits to some areas. The cleaning part is the hard part---dust and all---but wiping them and be able to get acquainted up close is definitely part of it all, right?
Only a few times on our first year at our house. But realized it needs to be done more often, so it became atleast twice a month, but NOT every space will be cleaned in one session--its always "if I have the time" or whenever I am free.
I have a small collection so I keep mine in an enclosed shelf. Honestly I think an open shelf display looks better, especially a collection as big as Jays it would be hard to keep them all enclosed. I love that room and that display, probably one of my favorite toy rooms I've seen. It'll definitely be a sight to see when those shelves are packed all the way full.
Repainting the office this week, so I figured it's a good time for a group shot, that way I can remember where they all go! Last shelf is spotty waiting for a few new additions.
Great looking shelves. I want that M1go Semi-Ningen. I've used pics in my collection as to remember how everything goes when I have to take them down.
Thanks! Eventually I'd like glass to get rid of the dusting issue, but this will work until the right shelves come a long. Hard to believe that Semi Ningen is almost 20 years old! I like the later reddish brown version better, but this is the one I found first.
Nice looking shelf Shiverbones!!! I never like the way I arrange my toys! That's why I don't like full shelf shots! Yours is looking great. I particularly like the Matango section, Oh! and the Hedorah!
Thanks! I still switch a thing around here or there trying to get maximum color bounce, that is part of the fun for me. I also need to get some clear risers & stop using ugly boxes.
I did my best collecting toys for the past 1,5 year. This is the result. I am currently working on growing my kaiju Collection.
MB - I couldn't be happier that KvP found a good home. Just a word of caution however this crowd doesn't like Western Vinyl as cool as I personally think Nolasco's work is. There's a nice FAQ section for more info. Thanks again!!!
Well, More than just repaint the office, I decided to buy new furniture too. I could have bought Animator's Goga for what this cost, but I really like the way it handles the collection better, plus I get good office storage space on the bottom.
shiverbones-poor mechas get hidden when the doors are closed. It actually confused me, as I thought you showed like a before and after setup shot at first. I was gonna start asking where those mechas went cause id take them off you. then i used my brain and looked again. So much awesome stuff in there though!!
Thanks guys! @ PT - Your gogas are probably the equivalent of the Whole case! @ GM - When I sit back in my chair I can see the Mechas fine.
