Andy has some: http://kaijukorner.blogspot.com/ So does Kadomiumtank: http://blog.goo.ne.jp/kadomiumtank/
So much good stuff. Dennis' en-men look great. Wish that chrome Yutari Gara-sharp was up for grabs. Can't quit looking at that US Toys Lunatics! Oh, and that Amapro duck-billed kaiju with eye-stalks is cool, too.
Who made the Kinikuman figures, they are the shit... I want them all, the captain sunshine, the kid.... AAAAHHHH! Also I'm not a G.Shogun fan, but those camo, bone/moss colored monsters from Luke, and Ricky are pretty wild...
The linden yokai stuff turned out great. So did the dorotabu in the opening pictures of kadiumtanksblog. It's sometimes hard to get excited about stuff you'll never see in person but still some awesome stuff.
I agree with you Bryce, but it's cool knowing they're getting made, plus there are definitely some small edition toys that I thought I'd never have a chance at, that eventually get moved around. The best part of WF has to be the restraint on copyrights are loosened. I wish there would have been more modern tributes, I love seeing what new companies do with old licensed characters. The Goldar figure on the Astro Boy table is just tops, as well. BTW thanks for the kadium link Chris...
Sometimes I don't even want to buy/own a toy, I just want to hold it, see it in person. I know that's weird, but it's true. That's part of the reason big conventions are cool, you get a feel for stuff. Fun to check stuff out. I appreciate seeing things in person I've never seen, even just for a min. I molested EBIII's LB Deathra w/guts just to check one out when he got it. Maybe I'm just weird.
Yeah that Goldar toy really caught my eye as well. I could swear it's a reproduction of a vintage toy. Looks huge.
I feel ya on this. Its like being a little kid, and some other kid friend on the neighborhood block got a new toy. Everyone rushed over to see it, hold and play with it. You feel somewhat satisfied. Then either you get the same toy, which I never really did, or you get a different one and you show it off. Freakin childhood days, when all that mattered was Nintendo, Power Rangers, TMNT, trading cards and cartoons. Freaking miss those days.
I'm not a huge fan of "mashups" but I've always liked that Dempagon / Death Menargo one. Besides that, Amapro and some Yamomark stuff, I'm not too geeked on what was there. FiveStar Toys. My Sunshine is one of my favorite toys.
omg...what is this sunguts piece? anyone? via kaiju korner http://kaijukorner.blogspot.com/2012/02/2012-winter-wonder-festival-exclusive.html loving this...get in my life! yah mule, yah!
Yep, Dean is correct. Yukie-Ju I believe is how I've most frequently seen it translated. I have the second release - looks similar to this one only less colorful paint on the body. Fun toy. Way under-appreciated, as is the case with many Sunguts toys.
Also, this Linden toy is terrific. I think it's from a Osamu Tezuka story, but I can't for the life of me recall which one.
Seriously looked like a great WonderFestival this year! I wish these guys didn't have SEX on the chest...
I was thinking the same thing. The sculpt looks pretty crazy (in a good way), but that bit just absolutely ruins it for me.
I am fine with the mega dildo in hand but it would be far better with " I <3 PUSSY" across the chest.
