I love the Rose Vampires, but the Power Mister might give it a run for its money. I'm looking forward to seeing the PM with some color.
I am assuming you are saying conjuring ridiculous prices in certain places? It's a great figure, it's cute, it's a mini and it has a strong crossover appeal. More people want it than the other Monster Family figures but I would not spend over retail for it. That's stupid and feeds the hype beast in the long run.
I'm pretty sure it fetched ridiculous after market prices, and gets tons of hype because it is a great mix of the eastern and western art styles. Also, the retail on these guys are very affordable, and they are made in relatively small runs.
Oops! Didn't notice my spelling mistake. Yea. It's just weird seeing people win bids that double or triple the original retail price. Oh well, doesn't stop me from liking them. I still got a few. I was just curious on other people's view on them and why they're so popular. And while I'm at it, we need more PARTYBALL! I wanna see some more colorways of this sculpt!
did people get refunds from roto today? all i saw was a roto tweet about overselling. sounds like doing cc/debit is quicker than paypal with them.
a friend of mine had his order canceled/refunded already (i was fortunate enough to make the cut), and i know kirby @ rotofugi is unhappy about recent overselling of high demand products. i was the victim of a lucky bag oversell last week...
I'm surprised none of you saw the naked pictorial spread Josh did on a bearskin rug for "Pork Magazine"! That's "cross-over" appeal! Super7 has deftly walked the line between two different markets w/ this fig and the Monster Family in general. Congrats Josh & S7!!!
speaking of crossover appeal, more news on vr availability, from jason at rhr: > Hi Rob, we did sell out of vampire rose at the shop today sorry. Was hoping > to offer online also, but that figure just keeps getting more and more > popular..
This reads like a 7 year old KR thread about some Krappy Dummy release. Maybe if the latest influx of n00bs would spend less time being needy douches, stop obsessing over the latest hot shit and focus more time on building up a (good) reputation and become part of the Skullbrain community, maybe other collectors would be more willing to 'help out' . . .
I would'nt mind at all seeing a new Escaregot or a brand new Josh toy instead of this seemingly endless pounding of Roses. I'm not Dutch !
