It still rules, yea there are alot of trendy dickheads but you're going to get that in any major city, its part of evolution of sheep. I still have a blast there and there's still plenty of cool spots, all you have to do is avoid anywhere thats highly populated by fake Coach purses and you're pretty solid.
Oh yeah, but when it's your hometown and the trendy-dickhead population quadrupled over 2-3 years per year it hurts even more. I mean, I miss it and haven't lived anywhere I like more (than Chicago overall) but I know if I went back it would not be home. Did you honestly think they would go on to the NLCS? With a healthy Sheets it was a possibility, but with Sabathia as your only horse they just don't have enough to win a playoff series against a very solid team like the Phillies. The Cubs really did blow it, they played the worst baseball I have seen them play all year. It was a disgusting 3 games. Changes need to be made if we are to ever really compete for a Championship.

I got so fucking sick of hearing how it was destiny and this was their year, so to have them not win a SINGLE game in the playoffs is sweet. For all their "horses", what did they do? Squadoosh.
