khanate, amazing taste. "Vernal Equinox" by Jon Hassel ... man, I remember way back when that was a hard-to-find LP on the Lovely label, pre-Eno. Still one of his best. I'll post a list later. Too wrapped up in the music business to think about music right now. That one's been in my heavy rotation lately too. I re-ordered the tracks to reflect the original LP order. "Making Plans for Nigel" wasn't on the original LP, but was on a four-track single that came with it. It originally began with "Life Begins at the Hop." The original sequence is a lot better than the current CD sequence. Anyway, classic XTC, still sounds fresh.

Wow, I don't remember there being this many electronic selections in the Top 10 favorite album's thread. I'm certainly not dissing electronic music. I actually am a pretty big fan, but I haven't heard of a lot of this stuff. I blame it on being raised in a small town. The Prodigy Aphex Twin Faithless Underworld Orbital Meat Beat Manifesto Fischerspooner The Chemical Brothers DJ Shadow Unkle That's about the extent of my Electronic collection. I'll certainly be checking out some of the picks by everyone.
