My favorite Zyurai.

This one is kind of a sad story. Back in 2006, Cronic sold a 'pinstripe box set' at summer Wonderfestival consisting of a clear green Mav, clear blue Zyurai, clear yellow Doro and two clear pink Nougakis, all with elaborate pinstriping. The set was 38,000 yen and included a beautiful display case. Photo linked from datadub's flickr:



Now it seems someone has broken up the set. Both Nougakis and the Doro were sold off. I only picked up this one (which ironically matches a Nougaki that I sold long ago when I thought I was "done" with Cronic).





It's great to have a piece of that fantastic set, but it's unfortunate to see it go this way. I wonder what happened to the case.

Akum6n...what you mean to say is that, it includes a "clear green" Zyurai Asu and "clear blue" Maverasu right?

I got the above MAV in a Mixbox from Naoki.

Devo - thought mine was a one-off Came with a matching Nougaki.

Like Darky wrote, that mav comes from Mixbox as the "Ura"-Secret limited 1/4 as long as I see the tag.
(I bought it at second market = I didn't have a luck to buy mixbox )

Zyurai is absolutely customed but not new. I posted the pics of the same zyurai before, I got the offer in Dec 2009.
After that, Cronic/Mr.Naoki keeps silence Cronic makes the toy event interesting/exciting for me so it's really sad!

Kaz, I am far from being complete! With Cronic, I learned, being complete is near to impossible.

I just had luck on some very early Naoki stuffs, his Toyfest and collab pieces are so awesome, and we haven't gotten to the one offs yet.

I feel very sad that Naoki san has gone completely silent these days. I hope to learn more news about him being active again.

I think it's not fair to count one-off on complete list and in this point, I feel you own almost all of the cronic stuffs as well as the other cool toy maker's
It's really cool!!

I think "impossible" is also my motivation to keep checking/collectiong cronic items.
I mean, I still meet and find unknown colorway-figures like above mav with surprised at second market or here and it's fun to checking around even if cronic is in silence.
So I hope more people will show their cool figures/collections here

Not sure where this one is from. The vinyl is more of a dull steel blue, not the same color as the 2008 LB Mavs. It was bagged with the standard Mav header, but printed in blue. Maybe a Mix-Box item?

He did a bunch in that style, combining matte and metallc colors. I'm not sure off the top of my head exactly where that one is from but yeah 2008-9 sounds right.

where is Naoki these days?
