Great thread.

Im planning a trip to Japan in April/May 08 for about 2 weeks and want to try to attend a festival, catch up with some friends and go toy shopping. Does anyone know of any festivals that run annually early mid year. Is there a time when they start announcing dates for next year's festivals?
