I really like that chase, and I'm not a big fan of the bagman brain. What's the "blood" made of exactly?

Obake and Goner Dogs have had resin done in the same fashion from what I'm told. Maybe it's the same for this one?

Lately the blood drips have been what I am guessing is vinyl. It looks like wax but it harder like vinyl.

i am pretty sure its wax at least on this version on the blood drips, it has the same tacky texture and softness as wax.

pretty sure wax would melt off.

I don't think it would survive shipping in the summer heat.

Agreed, that Marble pour probably can't be beat. Unless there's a HP...

The red SDCC version is also very lovely. Hope to get it one day from somewhere....

I'm going to say that there hasn't been a bad color yet. I like that most of them are different colors than we are used to, and the more "normal" colors are very rich and show off the sculpt well. That's the main thing with an unpainted toy, it has to be a good, or unique, color that really accents the toys details.

There are some crazy 1/1 skulls decorated by tattoo artists up for Friday the 13th. I was wondering if they would offer anything.

I think the Peach Skull Hevi has been the best blank so far. I can see much more detail on that figure. Congrats to those that scored!

I'm enjoying the colors of the skullhevi a so far, with purple and blue being my favorite solid colors- I share the same thoughts as animator. The man knows what he's talking about with blanks. I like the blue, red, and purple because secret base just doesn't use those colors all that often. I especially like colors that don't get much attention... When I think secret base, I like transparents, pinks, blacks, orange, gid and marbled mixes... So to see some other colors is nice.

Hopefully this blank love will continue with some of the other older characters. There hasn't been a skullbrain since last years SDCC Lorne brains...

Blank skullbrain. No blank Skullbrains since the Lorne brains. Nycc 2009 was the best show for blank fighters with the whole blue gid fighters.
