Being a Tsuburaya man, the ol'
King of Monsters was never my prime focus, but these massive guys certainly deserve their own thread. Quelle tragédie that one isn't in the vintage section. There are a few 'big guys' out there, between Bullmark, bootlegs, Popy, and Beetland, and that is just off the top of my head. Plus, whatever
this guy is.
I'll start it off with the only vintage one I have, this Popy beauty. He actually wasn't expensive when I got him, because someone had cut a slot in the front to make a bank out of him - but that doesn't really matter to me, none of my vintage figures are mint, just means they have been played with and loved. It isn't crudely done, and I still really love the figure in spite of it. [Sadly, he didn't come packed full of old Yen though.] Strangely enough, I have seen a few of these Popy Giants 'modified' in the same way. Go figure.
Anyways, here he is in all his great, chunky glory.
