He did two of my favorite things irrational people do, ask why it matters as they get worked up and completely invested in it, and tell the other party to "calm down" right before a string of very charged and unsolicited potty mouthness. Not only classy, but classic!

I've no previous knowledge of 'Godsendconspire'. . . . but he's the reason the "What you just got in the Mail" thread is now locked.

Am i wrong in assuming this is exactly the kind of behavior that will lead Mr. Flynn to scrap Skullbrain altogether?

Doubtful . . . . I'd guess the benefit as an S7 marketing tool outweigh the negative of dealing with an opportunistic tool!

OK, do you seriously not understand that you crossed the line of appropriately defending yourself when you basically said "Come at me, bro! I'll get you a beatdown."? Flynn didn't mean "defend yourself physically".

At this point I can't tell whether you are just not understanding what people are criticizing you about, or if you are just a professional troll.

I know that this place had a very poorly defined rule on Flipping until just recently, so I imagine that you were given one last chance by the powers-that-Brian because of that very reason. However, that doesn't mean that you get a free pass on constantly auctioning off almost new lottery items that you suddenly decided that you don't want, and especially not any threat of physical violence.

Mr. Flynn locked the offending thread while I was typing this, so I'm posting my final 2 cents about Godsendconspire.

He has... time and time again.. and if one were to trudge through the mess of GSC's (unedited) posts since joining Skullbrain and watching his ebay activity, you'd have more than enough proof of why he gets the treatment he does. By this point GSC (admittedly) knows the rules here, but does everything he can to bend them without breaking:
- talking about live lotteries (but not posting links)
- now waiting for a few weeks to a month before flipping his brand new toys on ebay
That is why many people (myself included) will not give him the time of day and wish that his offending behavior would be looked at closer by the mods and artists whose toys he repeatedly buys to flip/sell shortly after.

The people that chimed in were not "baiting" GSC, but rather making their stance against his opportunism and ugly behavior known (as they have every right to do in an open thread). After all his disrespectful posts and evident lack of remorse, I too think GSC's got a lot of moxie thinking other members would ever want to do him "a solid"...

Instead of responding to an insult with a proper retort (as "adults" should react), GSC threatened physical harm... and that is just plain unacceptable behavior on SB and in society as a whole. Period. Monsterislandczar probably shouldn't have said "thats what we needed you to say", although many of us were thinking the exact same... Sadly, that post is probably what saved GSC from the ban he rightfully deserves. So now, this clown is gonna keep doing the same crap and detracting away from what makes Skullbrain a pretty cool place sometimes. However, it's only a matter of time before GSC sinks the final nail in his own coffin. I'll be patiently waiting for that day to arrive.

I'm done giving this kid any press, he's not even worth all this typing. However, I'm dismayed to hear that a threat of physical harm is going to be tolerated and not dealt with as it was with the other ban last month (for the exact same offense)

It was a very unfortunate response by Bryan in my opinion. While I recognize the idea of not baiting people into saying things they shouldn't, I do not think that applies here and it is really irrelevant.

The admin statement is pretty clear... If you call someone stupid (which I essentially did in that thread) you warrant someone to threaten you with physical violence...and the administrators of this forum will tolerate that. So it now seems that anything goes.

We must wait for people to threaten others or make specific disparaging remarks (racist, homophobic, etc.) without any provocation from other members, despite this not being the case in the past. These must be the new rules.

I have never been one to tolerate people trying to blame others for their own actions. I am leaving this conversation knowing that anything flies on this board so long as someone "pushed you in a corner and made you say/do it." I find it humorous how the idea of acting like adults has been thrown around so freely when we seem to be sitting here in kindergarten playing the blame game and saying "but he started it."

I have not been with the board long, but it is clear to me why there is such an air of resentment and many people have given up. It must be disheartening to watch admins relinquish all control and authority to guys like Jon Nolde.

Once in a while people get fed up and congregate elsewhere, but other boards tend to die quickly. People stay here but become very, very cynical.

Look bud, I just want to apologize to you publicly. I was really heated, I hope we can move past this. I shouldn't have lashed out like that and I agree with you it was immature and rude of me to even hint at threatening you. Like I said I was just raised differently but I work hard at keeping that part of me at bay. Regardless it's no excuse I take full responsibility for being an asshole on that one. With the exception of you I haven't ever lashed out before and I won't again. I hope you can accept my apology man to man. it's hard to admit when your wrong but that's what I feel makes me a good man. I just want bygones to be bygones and stop this feud with you and everyone else. So let's put this to rest and get back to what it's really about. The toys and artists who make them.

You've tried this scheme before and when the boards were ready to give you a 2nd chance you came back and shit on everyone all over again, even i tried to be nice to you and hooked you up and what did you do? After fucking lowballing me with ridiculous offers, you took everything u got from me and took it to the bay to try to sell it for fucking ridiculous prices, not to mention Kaji's toys, brownnosing him all day every day (on twitter) making him believe that you were a true fan of his toys, asking him not to forget about you when he got to pick the winners for the lottos, for what? To take whatever (in good faith) he hooked u up with so that you could offer it as trade bait or end up taking whatever you got to the bay and try to profit from it?



Everything was great when everyone decided to ignore this fool, and unlike Smurph, i believe that the only mistake that MontaIslandCzar made was replying to his post, im sure that at least 98% of the people on SB are aware of him and im pretty sure no one's gonna be willing to help him out in either way (i.e. Mule, Wants, Trades, Sales, etc).
