 Re: Deadbeet N00bs are largely fickle fuckers (as demonstrated in your example) and IMO you were justified to be wary. My personal order of priority runs - Guys I owe favours to > Guys I've hung out with > OG's > Regular Posters > n00bs > NYC n00bs > The French!
