N00bs are largely fickle fuckers (as demonstrated in your example) and IMO you were justified to be wary. My personal order of priority runs - Guys I owe favours to > Guys I've hung out with > OG's > Regular Posters > n00bs > NYC n00bs > The French!

Re: Being a contributing member, here's a personal experience -- When I recently had a Bemon for sale, I received a PM from a user whose name I didn't recognize. They registered last summer and have 0 posts. I am wary of doing any sort of transaction with a member like that be it buying, trading or even selling. I read the PM, kept it in mind but did not reply right away. Being in need of cash, I replied after two or three days but he had already spent funds elsewhere. Which worked out for me in the long run, but that's beside the point. I don't see how that experience relates here. Google Scott Tolleson. Like I said, these aren't people coming out from nowhere. My point, with the Gargamel example was, that you could look at the 'Gachadokuro' figure (2004) and dismiss it as dumb round m&m shaped turd of a toy that doesn't belong on a Kaiju board ...or something to that effect (not saying it is, just saying it wouldn't be out of place to say that here.) But the same makers of that toy blew everyone away with other figures further down the line. In this case, IMO, one of the most popular toys on this board, the Deathra.

You clearly know nothing about what the Gachamecha references. it doesn't matter what it references if i'm gonna make highly subjective sweeping statements about it. that's kinda the point.

I guess you could if you have zero understanding of the numerous vintage Japanese toy/character influences behind the Gacha-mecha...

 Re: Deadbeet
This Friday, Feb. 8th, Purple Gummy Deadbeet will be released over at Octobertoys.com. I believe they go on sale around 5 PM and retail for approximately $60. The edition size is 30. This may be my personal favorite unpainted so far. Thanks, S

 Re: Deadbeet
I like the vinyl color on this one. It would be nice to see more painted versions. Anything planned?
