Check out the price of this Bee (39,000 yen)
It's the clear yellow "GET ON" version.
Also the Balzac Bee (28,000 yen)

I got the Rainy Day Bee from him today. Not too bad of a price, but some of the stuff is pretty out there.

Yeah I guess, but it still shocked me a little. I saw one on yja that was numbered 69/99 or 69/100. So it's not super limited, but just old and not around.

I go to nakano a lot, just to LOOK at the balzac toys I will never buy cause they want way too much money for them! (also there is a small vegetarian resturant at nakano broadway, kill two birds with one stone)

Sometimes you can find good deals if you get lucky.

Just being able to go there is RAD tho. Its a choice destination for the international traveller, or the local toy fiend!

Yeah? What floor is it on? I'd love to look for it the next time I'm out there.

There's a small tempura place in Broadway (2nd or 3rd fl) which I've been to a few times. Makes an excellent yasai tempura set.

I love how many of these threads evolve (or devolve) into discussions about food.

Its on the second floor...if you come from the main entrance of nakano broadway by way of the JR line....you head up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Make a right...then a right down the long hallway kinda thing, when it comes to the "T" kinda thing its the last spot on the right, its called "Kohrinbo" (if you pass a gay manga store on your left you are on the right path, Kohrinbo is right next to the weird army/american military toy/stuff collector store). Its Taiwanese/Chinese style food.

well mandarake USUALLY has more reasonable prices, so if I find something I like, and based on the price REALLY like, sometimes i can buy it! So "no pictures" is ok with me. hehe.

Good to know, thanks! LOL for a while I was doped it might be a Japanese stlye veggie place. Turns out it's the same food I eat every day - hah! But that's good to know that's it's there, as a good Nakano food option - cheers!

Food is the ultimate collectible. You rarely balk at the price and you end up keeping most of it with you forever.

are you veggie? I am.

It's not like the usual chinese veggie food, to ME its more towards japanese style. If you want Japanese vegetarian food, there are a few places to get it in tokyo, but not the nakano area.
