Post New music
Currently, I'm listening to the new Explosions In The Sky lp. It's damn good if you like instrumental rock. They're going to be at Coachella, so if you're going, check 'em out. Also, there's this great band called The Ponys that put out great indie rock. Is there anything new or old that you guys are listening to?

+100!

New stuff -

Xexyz - "Primeval Mountain" Check it out, these guys took the music from old Nintendo games like Rygar and Metroid, and built insane Black Metal songs from them. 8-bit unholiness!

Melechesh - "Emissaries"

Sasquatch - "II" Kick ass, super heavy stoner rock. Really good band.

The Good, The Bad & The Queen - s/t Members of The Clash + Blur

4 CD's from Janet Klein and her Parlor Boys - I just saw them live and got all 4 of her CD's, so this qualifies as new for me. Great band that does songs from the 1910's - 1930's. Really authentic and the live show (they play once a month in L.A.) is super fun.

I've also had a jones to listen to some old stuff -

a new reissue of Billy Squire's first record, which rocks!

Liz Phair's 1st 2 records

some 70's funk style James Brown (RIP )

I've never seen them live. They're playing here in L.A. in April. They signed to Matador Records and are releasing a new album in March.
