Post SUKERUKUN...oldie but a real goodie
Finally got bit by the BxH bug...bigtime. I've looked everywhere for info on this piece (I believe it's called the SUKERUKUN and it was a collab w/secret base. It's the Kun with the wicked spiked helmet) but have come up with no info whatsoever, other than a beautiful specimen for sale that I can't afford

Anyway, just curious if anybody on the board has any of these, what colors exist, what the heck is inside of them, etc. ANY INFO WOULD RULE! PICS WOULD RULE! RESURRECT THE SUKERUKUN!!!

These are amazing figures, and perfect companions to the Kaws SKull Kuns that were releaesd recently. I would still love to score the Orange DX, in fact that reminds me that I need to add it to my Wants list!

So far, just the brown Kaws Kun and I have a Skum Kun and Moguru Kun on the way...took awhile to get into the BxH but as you know, at one point things just click inside your head! Got any to offer up?

These BxH/SB kuns are really a perfect collaboration - you get equal doses of each companies style in one sculpt...I need one bad!

cool...nah, none of mine are for sale...the bxh/sb kuns are dope, but i haven't gotten around to them yet. I actually just picked up the black kaws kun, which i think will look awesome next to my OG Kun.

good luck with the new collection!

Thanks man...Any idea what a "normal" price would be for a sealed one? The only one I've located is just about $300.... :(

which sealed one exactly??

i haven't priced these guys lately, but the OG clear sukeru kun was one of my first JP vinyl and i own quite a few BXH pieces.

i wouldn't want to pay $300 for any version (can't remember which is the SB) but $200 or so would probably be appropriate. (but with price overload these days, people will probably want you bending over  )

someone correct me if i sound cracked ^^

Yeah, I thought $300 was excessive. Probably why it is still available. Of course, when it's almost impossible to find one.....If I had cash to burn I probably would've broken down for it...

They were all over YJA a year or so ago.
I picked up the green, blue and orange over time without a problem.
Green with the GID helmet is my favorite.

Aaargh! I suppose I really missed the boat. Let me know if you ever want to trade or sell one...
Is it possible to even use YJA if you're based in the USA? I've tried translating the pages but it doesn't work so well. I've heard most sellers won't ship outside Japan...

the orange is the toughest, I think $300 would be a good deal for the orange at this point. The others $150-200.

Hey Toybot, through checking your (awesome) blog, maybe you'd know what obscure Japanese shop might have what I'm looking for?

its actually getting a chance at it thats the problem ^^

Thanks for all this info. If anyone has one they want to sell or trade, let me know. I'd put it in my want list, but that thread is way buried at this point so I'll just keep trolling the internet!

Thanks Khanate,

but the real toy experts are all right here...answering your questions. :D

I got the GID version for $200 on fluke from ningyoushi. I then got the clear blue (and another GID which I traded to LivingDead) from YJA last year for about $300 for the pair. never seen the orange one for sale or trade.

try hitting up LivingDead. he was looking to sell the GID a little while ago.

other than that, search YJA 2-3 times a day and pray to the toy gods.

or just offer some obscene amount of money and see if any of the boardmembers will part with theirs. :D

Thanks, I'll try Living Dead. He seems to have access to some killer stuff...I've had a Blood Pirate stashed away, was trying to trade it for Exohead but we all know now what it's like trying to get folks to part with THOSE
Maybe I'd have better luck scoring a sukeru with it...

Yeah, the language barrier is a tough one with One-Up, but I busted through when I sent a picture of exactly what I wanted. They even shipped it out an hour later - can't beat that...
