My name is Glenn. I was born in a cave in the Appellations and raised by cave slime. Having spent my developmental years in a gave I glow in the dark, consequently Creevox keeps inviting me to sit on his shelf (no means no Bernie!) and my wife hasn't had a good nights sleep in 10 years.

When I was 6 I moved to a massive redwood tree on the Olympic Peninsula. I loved this tree until I discovered it was not an ancient guardian of the forest but a 10 year old tree with a glandular problem who tested human growth hormone for Barry Bonds to make money on the side. Concerned about the redwoods ever worsening mood swings I moved to Hawaii when I was 12.

Hawaii was nice except for the Turtles. While in Hawaii I learned to swim, made a friend and invented toast (yep that was me, your welcome). Eventually I broke down and joined the Turtles cult and they sent me to Los Angeles to do missionary work.

Once in Los Angeles I met my Lisa. Realizing that my good looks and personality were probably not enough to woo a lady like Lisa (or get a free class of water at the bottom of a lake) I starting looking for work. It turns out that the only thing a boy raised by slime who lived in a tree and worshiped the turtle god was qualified to do was work as a venture capital consultant. So this is what I do.

Two years ago I renounced the Turtle God and have been buying toys ever since to keep the turtles from stealing my organs. I took a small break from collecting in December 05 and the bastards got my spleen. So now I try to buy at least one toy a week because besides my tonsils and appendix I think I am going to need the rest of my body parts for the foreseeable future. It turns out clear monsters and RxH toys are the most effective turtle defense. (So please sell me your RxH, after all my life may depend on it).

This is a picture of me with a god of good health. You can tell he is a god of good health because he has a rain coat on.

(I hope this is what Jackie was looking for because I think she works for the Turtles and I don't want to piss her off)

Hi,
I'm Alex. I'm 27 and grew up in shadow of the nations capital. I've been collecting since the days of empire strikes back. Got in western vinyl about 6 years ago and into JP seriously about 3 years ago. I'm into music, art, horror, sci-fi and a lot of other junk we're all into.
This is me with jesus..

my name is adam and im 26 years old. i live in georgia just south of atlanta with my wife. we were married on the 21st of october 2006 and have been together for 7 years.
we have a miniature schnauzer. her name is Leeloominai Lekatariba Laminatcha Ekbat D Sabat.
i am a collector. period. if there's more than one of something i want them both. small things are especially of interest. i started trying to focus my collecting about a year ago and fell into this not long afterwards.
i work at a major retail mart (which i will not name for fear of retaliation) where i manage the over the counter drug section. i will hopefully be moving into some sort of film editing in the near future which is more in line with what i want to do in life.
i have a BS in Science, Technology, and Culture from Georgia Tech.

im brent, i live in nowhereland, indiana. i collect records and toys and obsolete electronics and watch alot of movies. i dont like cool things, yet i believe im classified as a hipster. i collected toys in my teens, but just started again with the jp vinyl in fall 06. I appreciate and purchase "sampled culture" and "illegal art" - or "bootlegs" for you not so broad thinkers and overpricers.

i tried to deal with facial hair once, it didnt go well

My name is Rich I'm 28 and I've been collecting toys period since I was able to point to one on a shelf at child world :)

I started out collecting KAWS figures and also some mecha and western vinyl. Then on a little weekend trip to NYC with my girl I hit up toytokyo and instantly BxH grabbed me. That turned to secret base which turned to REALxHEAD which I now mainly collect.

I've also been an artist my whole life, in runs in the family as my great grandfather was an amazing artist. I decided to go to art school about a year and a half ago and in trying out new mediums I decided to paint some toys. Starting out with western vinyl it turned into eastern which has now become all I paint and my full interest.

Here is my most recent pic, its of me and my beautiful girl :)

And here is a pic of a finger missing the nail  (its not mine but my buddies )

I grew up in Denver, went to High School in Utah then graduated from College in Denver with a BFA. Started my artistic career right out of High School working for an animation studio working on Transformers and the Smurfs. For the last 19 years I have worked in very many aspects of the comic art, illustration and animation field. I have worked for Disney, Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Chaos! Comics, Image, Wizard Magazine and Dark Horse. I currently work for an advertising/marketing company doing illustration, design and photo re-touching for a Beer Brewing Company, snowmobile manufacturer, and a company that makes diapers along with a million other products.
I have been collecting things all of my life. It started out with the old Aurora model kits, then Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, then Creature Feature Trading Cards, then comics, then toys, then Hot Wheels, and finally back to toys and I haven't looked back. I am married to a very beautiful Japanese woman. I have two wonderful Boston Terriers - Bonnie and Dauber and a very cute but very epileptic cat - Sketch.

My wonderful self-portrait below.

I'm Jeff and started my life with Star Wars. I was born into it with an older brother, and it's the root of all my collecting. I blame Balzac for my descent into Japanese Vinyl due to their Medicom VCD's a few years back. Since then I've been super into Medicom, still am love Kubricks and RAH's, but it drew me into reading S7 due to an article on the Danzig VCDs in the Black issue.

I love rocking out in bands that can't play well and are about having fun more than having anything to say, and I've been married for 2 1/2 years. We did it Vegas style deciding out of no where at a Vietnamese eatery and flew to Vegas the next day and there's not been a regret. I recently relocated from my hometown of Chicago to Atlanta because of outrageous housing costs, and I'm still adjusting and know nobody. I've been in and out of college including focus on radio, film and now Paramedics, I can't pick 1 thing!

I currently work at a Copyright/Trademark law firm and get to laugh at crazy inventions all day including something we all call the "Ass Tampon" (yes something similar to that description is patented, so don't steal it!) Here's me and my adopted daughter Pebbles:

I'm matt. I live in Columbus, GA where I'm a student and currently sell suits for a living while working towards teacher certification. I've always had toys around me and first started oggling vinyl around 2001 but was an even poorer college student at that point so I didn't start collecting till late 2005. I started out with biskup pieces and then once I had aquired one each of my favorite biskup scuplts I decided it was time to dive into japanese vinyl which is where I've been spending most of my toy budget since last fall. In addition to collecting toys I like to hang out with geeky people and I do some screenprinting when I'm not overloaded with school and work.

Hi.

I'm Missy. I think I can be classified as an old timer on this board. I've been buying toys for a few years. I collect Kubrick/Be@rbrick Blythe, Pushead, and any weird doll from the 1960s with big eyes and a big head. I share a tiny apartment in Philadelphia with my boyfriend Skylar and our toys.

Here are some of my toys and Skylar's

hey dudes. I'm skylar.

I got into toys a long time ago. I was an only child that lived kind of in the middle of nowhere (our house was surrounded by cornfields), so I was a bit spoiled and my parents bought me a lot of toys to keep me occupied because they felt bad. I always loved nerdy sci-fi and horror movies on saturday afternoon TV, but in particular Godzilla movies, probably since about age 4.

I didn't really start buying Japanese toys until I was about 16-17 years old, and then only infrequently because of monetary reasons. it wasn't until I was in my early twenties and had real jobs that I started collecting heavily. started out with a lot of Bandai stuff, much of which I have sold. then I got into Kubricks/Be@rbircks pretty heavily, and then back to vinyl again.

right now I'm in school for graphic design (just like everybody else).

in addition to toys, I love lots of nerdy stuff including horror/sci-fi/cult film and television from around the world, generally anything "spooky" or halloween related, theme parks/roller coasters/dark rides, disneyworld, advertising mascot stuff, cryptozoology/speculation/weird stuff, fast food, and unholy black metal

I know this is a toy related message board, but I'm always interested in meeting other weirdos and love to talk about any/all of that stuff, so feel free to spark up a conversation. my favorite forum is the "whatever" section. I know you like toys, so now tell me what else you like.

here is a picture of me suspiciously checking on the shady dealings of one Isaac Ramos:

Awesome! That should be a shirt. It's my moto in life! I have a weird obsession with eating at EVERY fast food chain I see. My fav. is currently In and Out Burger which I've only hit at SDCC since there's none this far east, and the holy grail of gross White Castle. But alas, none in GA. All Chicago Skullbrainers, GO TO SUSIES ON MONTROSE! For those who don't know, they take a taco salad bowl (a deep fried tortilla chip formed into a huge bowl) and fill it with cheese, fries and ANY meat you want! Gyros are my fav. in that combo, I fart blood!

I'm totally into regional fast food chains.

I ate at an In N' Out when I was out in CA and wasn't that impressed. the dude in line in front of me ordered "animal fries" and they weren't on the menu and I'm still in the dark as to what they are.

I hate White Castle. I can't eat onions. (insert negative comments from Turtletooth here)
