I was under the impression that the GID 5YL Companions were made specifically because so many people missed out on the others, and the GID release was to compensate his bummed-out fans...I figured the same was going to happen again for the Dissected but it's anybody's guess.
I actually love the first 2 Dissected colorways - didn't really get into Kaws until those were released. I did think the colors used in the black version were ugly though so I stopped there. Just because they make them, doesn't mean you need to buy them. I just wish there was a decent chance at getting his stuff at retail, especially when you're waiting by the second for the page to load right at the get go. Kawsone should have some sort of email pre-order so the site-crash thing wouldn't be an issue anymore.
But yeah, they have a shop now so it's pretty obvious that they NEED to keep figures coming out. If the quality suffers, no big deal to me - I just won't buy them...

The blue GID 5YL Companion came out to "help out" fans. The green GID was not released under that premise.

known of him for years of course and i have NO CLUE why it didn't hit me how great his stuff is. actually when pushead and he collabbed i was all over those pieces but for just straight kaws stuff the dissected's punched me in the face, balls and dick.

ha. I bought all that Kaws stuff back in tha day..for low prices. 110.00 bucks for the White Chum..heh (thanks new museum store)
man..I reallyh want to sell it all and like..go buy a new car or sumthing.
