Joe M500. Not at all sure what the M500 stands for. I live/work/play in Chicago, but you'll see me all over. The toys aren't all that important, I'm here for the party. I overindulge in everything. I have to erase many of the photos.

My real name is Wendy, I'm 27....I was born in Costa Rica but have been living in the U.S. for 8 yrs. I'm currently working on my Masters in Plant Pathology which I hate...I would rather be a poet...I have always loved toys but the vinyl thing started when I was looking for some Gorillaz music and stumbled upon KR...there some of you (JHOTTROD) kept posting your newest SB purchases and quickly I found myself selling all of my western vinyl to support my SB addiction...I love Balzac stuff and hope to one day own a Bemon...

yeah, great record, that tour was awesome, Rev night at CBGB's too. Totally wicked guys, I love Bunch like a brother , that whole Rev scene around that time was incrdible, shift, Texas etc.

at the time I wouldn't have admitted I liked all the stuff coming out on rev. But was definitly at all the shows. I saw shift at a really small house in DC and it was great. It was weird to see her in motley crue and hole years later. I was closet promise ring fan too.

ha ! i saw shift play with millhouse in some basement in NYC, really cool, like the promise rings first record, but thats it!

My name's Scott, I'm 16, I've been collecting toys since August '05, and it all started with the KR forums. After I started collecting the Touma kaiju for grown-ups I fell into the dark world of Secret Base and JP vinyl. Much thanks to John for getting me caught up in the eastern stuff! :D

I don't really have much to say, I only started collecting this stuff last week, and I don't have very much of it yet. I like Inazuman among others.

My bio is 100% accurate within the pages of the Super7, and I spend my spare time applying more clear packing tape to the windows of Franks's yellow ride under the overpass. (BTW, I have actually seen it in motion, propelled by gasoline once -believe it or not.) After that, I spend my time trying to frustrate Ramos into toy submission with ridiculous manufacturing plans, and generally try to cool everyone's hot nerves on this here bbs when tempers flare. I have a stupid amount of records and no spare time to listen to them. I am originally from Texas, and while not regretting it, I ony really miss Sonic and Schlotszkys most of the time. I would like to thank each and every one of you here on the board for allowing Super7 to continue to have a blast with this little hobby of ours.

I have been collecting toys before most of you were glimmer in your daddy's eye! Use to hook Flynn up in the early years when he lived in P-town. Ran a collectible shop for 13 years and still half ass run a website. Been collecting JP vinyl off and on for over 30 years - started when I lived in Hawaii as a young pup and picked up most of the Ultra 7 Bulmarks new in package. Sold them to Flynn in the late 90's when my car died and I needed a new ride! Spare time is sepnt wit hmy new wife Pam and our three hellion JAck Russels. That and I play drums in a old school honky tonk band and get my Punk rock out in a Ramones tribute band.

Today most of my collecting energy is into RxH. Have a modest collection.

I am an "old" bitter SARCASTIC man - deal with it!

Okay…better late than never….

My name is Mike, I was Jersey born and raised.
Lifelong monster kid, glued to the all-day Creature Features on WWOR, WPIX, early USA Network, etc.

Had my mind blown at age 4, being taken to the Hackettstown, NJ premiere of the original Star Wars by my “weird” (so regarded by the rest of my family because of her passion for everything sci-fi) Aunt Cheryl.
Of course, began collecting SW at that time, which continued for years and years.

My steady diet of strange kultur was begun around fourth or fifth grade, as I discovered punk rock, surrealist painters, and underground film and comix all at once (at great 80’s Jersey shops Fat Moose and Excalibur)- this early phase was also heavily nurtured/informed by TV shows like USA’s amazing Night Flight and Commander USA’s Groovy Movies.

My collecting has been all over the map over the course of the last thirty years, but has come to be pretty much settled on Jim Woodring and kaiju toys (with, as you may know, a focus on Garamon/Pigmon) and resin model kits. I had watched a lot of Ultraman as a kid (and recall having a Micras figure at one point), but my intro to kaiju collecting didn't come until ’99, when I picked up the incredibly intriguing (well, to me, anyway) Bandai Pigmon figure at Clifton, NJ’s sadly defunct Outer Limits.

I moved to Vermont in ’96, where I live in a small rural town with my lovely family just outside the capitol. I work in HR (awful…just…awful) at a large insurance company by day, and do art and lead a band (write the tunes/sing) in my “spare” (ha!) time.

Here’s me, my wife and son at the Jersey wedding of my guitarist/best bud Alen, back in September.

My name is Jim. I collected a complete set of Mars Attacks cards in 5th grade. I kept Halloween decorations up year around, like a skull on my bedroom door to which I added a sign saying "Quarantine: Meningitis". I also collected rat finks, Weird-Ohs and Wolverton stuff. The highlight of my summer was always the 10-in-1 at the state fair.

Fortunately, I grew up to be a happy, well adjusted pharmaceutical executive with a lovely wife and four beautiful children. I have worked in gynecologic infectious disease for many years and am probably the only one here who makes a living from drugs and vaginas.

I walk in the woods almost every day and often find interesting things. Here I am with 2 fungi. One is real and I ate it:

Im Steve, I grew up in San Diego but at the moment Im a student in NYC studying linguistics and hoping I can find a job someday. I collect mostly Kaws and Ledbetter and Devilrobots and BxH and Gargamel. I started to get into toys when I was in Japan for the summer in 2002 (mostly be@rbricks and small things). I didnt start collecting Kaiju until I saw the Bwana Spoons Gargamel toys and loved em. Hopefully I'll be studying in Tokyo next year.

^ This is Ni-chan.
It's a well-known fact that cats have two names.
The name their mother gives them when they are born,
and the name we give them when they adopt us.
Ni-chan's real name is Satan.
He weighs over seven kilograms and has never heard that
saying about not biting the hand that feeds you.
Two summers ago he bit almost right through mine, just below the thumb,
and I had to have minor surgery.
Here, he is contemplating eating part of my toy collection.

Image
^ This is Nico, his sister. She smells bad.
A mixture of fish, poo, and old socks.
It always reminds me of my Grandma's medicine cabinet.
Poor thing. Other cats won't go anywhere near her.

Image
^ And this is Kuro-chan. She's completely insane.
You're not supposed to have 'favorite's but, well ...
just don't tell my wife, okay?

Yes, it's basically a very clever remake of Frankentein, from the pain-ridden, howling moans of the protagonist to the accidental death of a young girl in the stream. Me and a friend of mine who is a russian filmmaker like to argue over which of his films is the best. I pick Mr. Vengeance and he likes to side with Lady Vengeance. I'm sure the popular pick is Old Boy.

i have to say my favorite was Old Boy followed by mr. vengeance.. lady vengeance had too much of a "happy" ending :)

i read on wikipedia that there's actually a version of lady vengeance where it starts out in color and gradually fades to black & white... don't happen to know where to get that version do you?
