no, but everytime we go to the flea market my girlfriend always begs me for one. I tell her that I don't trust the flea market gypsies and the pets they sell. They probably train them to pick your pockets. Be wary....

I've heard many things about them from many people. I've heard that they're great pets, and I've heard that they're awful pets. They're cute as hell, though. My recommendation is to read a couple of books about their care before making a decision.

they sure are cute, i would just make sure to buy one from a reputable breeder in the states. in fact, i'd be VERY careful about who i got one from.

i know people who have actually caught diseases from imported animals :lol:

I know you need more than one because they're very social.

There's a weird reported affliction where they don't stop licking their genitals.(I know I wouldn't stop if i could).

They sound like ferrets, in terms of the kind of pets they make. Ferrets are so cute but a real pain to take care of. (I know. I had one.) They're also very social animals. Don't think they had the genital licking problem, though. ;)
