Post Toys of Mardi Gras 2007
These are called "throws" and are literally thrown to revelers by Parade riders from their floats.

You can see:
1. Muses clear pink shoe braclet and ear rings in package

2. Krewe D'etat bulletin - folds out to a display showing all 21 floats

3. Knights of Chaos Knight mini plush

The skull jesters are cool, but I think the baseball signed by the muses is the most a-muse-ing. Glad to see Mardi Gras is still alive (and hopefully well).

Chad,

forgive me, I don't know anything about Mardi Gras tradition. What are the "Muses" and "Knight of Chaos" references all about?

Those are the names of the Krewes (organizations) that are having the parade.

So Muses and Knights of Chaos are Krewes.

If anyone else has questions, ask away...

OK, you asked for it!!!
If a black hole has such a huge gravity that even light and supposedly time can't escape it's pull, where exactly does everything sucked into it go?

That's some cool swag. I don't remember anything like that when I was at MG, just necklaces and the coin thingy's. (Of course, I don't remember a whole lot overall, but that's kind of the point, isn't it)

How many Krewes participate in Mardi Gras each year?

Lots and Lots. My guess would be several dozen.

My most coveted parade throws are my Harry Lee magnets from the metairie parade down vets. Also one of the best reminders of the 5 years I lived in jefferson parish. I can also remember catching all the potatoes, carrots, and cabbage during the irish-italian parades. Chad, is he still sheriff?
