It's like the Samhain/Danzig skull on a cute body. Whats up with the new thing being horrific skulls on everything? I'm not complaining, I like it, but it seems to be a trend now.

Are those prototypes or will he paint the heads? It might look killer with a uniform paint job...
THIS is what I'm freakin' over:

The skull figures are collabs with Nerd One (probably a one time-release, if history is any indication...), with whom Cronic has worked a lot in the past, and with whom Cronic is sharing a booth at WF. From the looks of things, this is not a *new* Cronic figure, but a Nerd One head sculpt on a Zyurai Asu and Nougaki body. It might be a removable mask. Hard to tell from the pictures.
The clear amber Zyurai body has been used for a previous Nerd One collab - the "First Anniversary" figure which featured a (different) removable black skull head on an unpainted clear amber Zyurai. Another 1st anniv set featured that same skull (in white) on a yellow unpainted Zyurai.
The clear pink Nougaki has been used before, for the August 2006 Wonderfest Nougaki. There is also a clear bright pink unpainted "prototype" Nougaki
Incidentally, if I'm not mistaken Nerd One is also responsible for the clear Dorogami with paper inserts, as well as the clear Nougaki with inserts.

here's my second favorite nerd-one custom! (taken from flickr) - nothing to do with wf2007

No, except it was previewed at last month's Superfest, which is where that picture was taken.

Sweet God, that Gumos is beautiful. Is that another edition of 2, or is it something I might actually be able to get my hands on? It would certainly be the centerpiece of my growing Gumos collection.
